Preliminary Report Human Remains are not Hailey

This case frustrates me to no end. Perps are living their lifestyles and are free, Hailey is nowhere to be found...and this has all come to a standstill. When I was actively posting quite awhile back, I truly thought that Hailey would be found and justice will be served. I don't hold this thought anymore.

It seems that every case I have fervently followed since Shawn Hornbeck was found in 2007, (Kyron, Hailey, Holly Bobo) the missing person has not been found and the perps roam free. It makes me sick to my stomach that this is happening more and more.

I never realized how many cases go unsolved until I began following them here. Granted, there is still hope, especially for these most recent cases. Even if I don't post, there are still cases I have been following for months & even years, I'm sad to say.

I don't get it either, especially in Hailey's case. These are not criminal masterminds here (IMO). One thing I've noticed in many of these cases is the time discrepancy between when a person actually went missing and the time when the missing person is officially reported to the authorities. That time gap could give someone adequate time to cover their tracks and hide evidence.

I don't know that's what happened here. I'm only speculating and it's all just my opinion.

I followed along to Hailey's story when I was reading about Kiesha Abraham's here in australia, disillusioned that Kiesha had not been found, thinking for sure Hailey would be quickly found and someone bought to justice. Well thankfully Kiesha was found, although it took several months, but the time is stretching on and on for Hailey

Well.....it's been about a month since we found out the body was male. So what are the stats on him....???? He's been missing too!!!

This whole case has been one of frustration from the beginning...and on. Arrgh!

No rush. Its just a dead human being.

Whose body was concealed in a shallow grave in a place where bodies don't belong.

Who must have been murdered, else why hide the body?

I'm not convinced that anything we've been told by LE about this dead person is accurate. :moo:

I haven't read or posted in Hailey's thread since the day they announced it was a "male", haven't had the heart. Here it is over a month later and they still have no idea who this poor soul is?

This poor baby girl, why is there no arrest and why hasn't she been found? I know Texas is big but it isn't that big. I hope the person that hurt her pay for their actions, no matter who they are.

Tell you what; pick a detail hold back and give us the rest. We'll do the work for you to identify the body so just maybe whoever buried him (we think), can be found and questioned by your fine detectives. Really, it doesn't look good to just give up on an ID because this particular dead body isn't Hailey.

Remains found by Sweetwater.

Speculation immediately turned to missing 14-year-old Hailey Dunn, who disappeared from her home in Colorado City, TX, 19 months ago today, as Sweetwater is only 29 miles east of Colorado City. However, several people have gone missing from the area in the last year, including Lubbock teen Mark Ysasaga, 82-year-old Charlie Strawn from Richardson, and pregnant mom Candice Shields from nearby Graham. Shields’ boyfriend at the time of her disappearance lives in Sweetwater, and MPN received several inquiries last night from advocates working her case about the discovery.
