Sarah, bit of a wildcard!! She still lives with Prince Andrew and rumour has it they might remarry once Phil dies (he hates her).

Living together for the royals is like living in the same huge block of flats. Maybe they should get back together, he seems as silly as she.
She seems like the female version of a Hooray Henry.

Only the children of the monarch or heir should be titled Prince or Princess (IMO). The Queen's sister Margaret didn't title her kids as such, and of the Queens four only Andrew chose / pushed to have to Beatrice & Eugenie named as Princesses. Those two could be the last two, as I doubt Harry will want to do it.

The four children of the Queen were all entitled to style their children as prince/princess, so I'm not sure it's so much that Andrew pushed for it but that Anne and Edward chose not to.

Margaret chose to have her children styled as children of an earl (her husband was the earl), and Edward has followed that and had his children styled with titles for the children of an earl. Edward himself would carry an earldom, so the children can use the styling for the child of any of the titles he carries as I understand it.

George VI was the second son, so following your idea that would mean that the Queen wouldn't have been a princess until her father became king.

I have no idea how they make that decision and I don't have an opinion in the matter. I'm not disagreeing with you, just replying.

I think the rule of thumb is/was grandchildren of the monarch/heir. They can do what ever they please really, who's gonna say no to the Queen!

The bit about the golden unicycle where Meghan says "that present is a fail" just cracks me up! So clever, must have taken a lot of work. I'd love to know if the royals have seen it, I imagine so and I imagine most of them found it pretty funny.

The staff entitled to accommodation have their own small apartments at Kensington Palace. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge do not live with the help.

Historically, staff for Royals and Aristocrats have a small bedroom usually under the eaves, in the attic area or occasionally, in the basement. The bedrooms are tiny, containing a bed, dresser and sink. Their meals are eaten in a communal dining area.

Apt 1 A is basically a four storey home with staff quarters on the fourth floor. Staff have to be within 'shouting distance' or bells or whatever modern version they have now-a-days.

The Queen is presently looking for 'live-in' staff.

Some of the rules and regs. for working at a palace are very interesting, if a bit odd by our standards.
One example is to walk at the sides of the carpet, as to not wear out the centre part.

The second best picture (and best picture of ALL time) is the horse looking at Prince Andrew and laughing with his tongue poked out!! It wasn't taken today but its in the grouping. It was taken while Andrew was practicing riding, seems he's not fond of it but had to be prepared for today. lol
