Royal wedding SNUB: Fergie left OFF the guestlist for Meghan Markle and Harry's reception

SARAH Ferguson, Duchess of York, has been snubbed by Prince Charles, after he left her off the guestlist to the exclusive private evening wedding reception he is throwing on May 19 for his son Prince Harry and bride-to-be Meghan Markle...

The Duchess is said to be “deeply unhappy” about the snub to the evening reception despite bagging an invite to the ceremony and afternoon reception.

Sarah, widely known as Fergie, is one of the 600 guests invited to the ceremony at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle, notably because Prince Harry is said to have been intervened to make sure she had an invitation to both his wedding and the first reception of the day...

I have friends who live in the outskirts of London, I am an American and I have heard more news about the Royal Wedding and the Royal Baby than they have. I had told my friend Dutchess Kate had her third baby, he replied stating that he had no idea. It's crazy how American's LOVE the Royals in England...it truly is just them because we do not hear any of other princes, kings, queens, sheiks or anything...but when news happens with the Royal family...Americans, including myself..go crazy. I honestly can't wait until their wedding next week!!

Harry has a special sweetness and I pray he has the marriage made in heaven.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't find anything sweet about dressing up like a Nazi, calling someone a raghead etc, etc, etc...

Could Meghan Markle ever be queen of England?
Short answer: It's pretty unlikely

Meghan Markle is a lot of things: Prince Harry’s fiancee, an American actress, a divorcee, a foodie and a former lifestyle blogger.

Could she ever add “queen of England” to the list?

Who is next in line to the throne? Breaking down the royal family tree

Well, we’ll break it all down for you, but here’s the short answer: It’s pretty unlikely.

Here’s the situation: Markle obviously will be tied to Prince Harry once she’s officially welcomed into the royal family, and it'll be at that time that she'll get a “branch,” so to speak, on the family tree...

Meghan Markle can thank Wallis Simpson for being able to join royal family
How Wallis Simpson paved the way for Meghan Markle

While it's not a big deal that Meghan Markle was previously married before getting engaged to Prince Harry, if Harry had popped the question 80 years ago, the couple would not have been allowed to wed.

Markle can thank Wallis Simpson, later known as the Duchess of Windsor, for breaking barriers in 1937 when the Church of England and the public court of opinion chastised her for simply falling in love. If you've watched Netflix's "The Crown," you may be familiar with this story...

Not even Prince Harry will know the designer of the dress before the big day, Kensington Palace confirmed in a statement last week, saying: “That tradition is very important to them".

However, there is one person who is guaranteed to have set eyes on the show-stopping white number before it hits the aisle: The Queen.

Speaking on ITV's Lorraine on Wednesday, royal correspondent Emily Andrews said, "The Queen is also going to see a sneak peak of Meghan’s dress because she has to approve it beforehand".

The Queen had to give formal consent for the couple to marry, so approval on Meghan's sartorial choice definitely isn't out of the question.

That’s a lot of pressure on Meghan. Can you imagine if the Queen said your dress looked awful or it was too revealing?

He is the spitting image of Charles in this photo and so much of Diana and his uncle Charles Spencer’s red mop.

All the very best for Harry love from Australia.

Prince Harry has the same eyes and nose as his father. How anyone can still think James Hewitt is really his father is beyond me.

You know, I have never really thought too much about Harry looking like his father, but I saw a picture today of him and Wills when they were a bit younger, and the expression on Harry's face was Charles made over. I think I was on my phone when I saw it, but I will see if I can find it again and post it. It totally blew me away!

ETA: Found it, now let's see if I can post it - lol.

Camilla is a divorcee and one step away from being married to the king.

I agree Greg and look at the smiles!
Can you imagine the world questioning your parentage and calling out your mother as a *****.
That was a load to carry for a youngster for sure.

EXCLUSIVE: Meghan Markle's father begins his journey to London for his daughter's wedding to Prince Harry by checking into a $70-a-night motel in San Diego and picking up supplies at 7-Eleven

Meghan Markle's reclusive father Thomas has begun his journey to London for the royal wedding
He left his secluded home in Rosarito, Mexico, late Wednesday evening and stopped briefly at a convenience store close to his house before setting off for the border at San Ysidro
Among supplies Markle was seen picking up on his journey was Gas-X which gives fast relief for gas and bloating and a can of Heineken
He appeared to have had a haircut in preparation for the Windsor Castle nuptials on May 19
Last week, Kensington Palace announced that Markle Sr would be walking Meghan, 36, down the aisle when she marries Prince Harry – ending months of speculation over whether he will attend...

It is disgusting that this man can’t stop at a convenience store without his every move and his purchases being photographed and publicized. So tacky!

But I imagine that being able to walk his daughter down the aisle will make up for it. I’m very happy for him!

Here's hoping he makes it for the wedding. Last night on my evening news they had an interview with his daughter,
Meghan's half sister and she was berating the royals for not sending him a plane ticket and expenses for him to make the trip. She claims he had only enough money, gas and his old beat up car to just make it to Ca. but had no plane ticket yet. Apparently the royals were notified and they were waiting for acknowledgement that the $$ was on it's way.
Sad to hear this kind of trash talk coming from Meghan's family. Must be uber embarassing.

There was a feature with the half sister on Inside Edition yesterday, as well.

Meghan Markle’s estranged brother has once again penned an open letter - this time begging for a chance to attend the royal wedding.

Thomas Markle Jr, who shares the same father with the future royal, wrote the May 3 letter to his half-sister asking her to reconsider and invite him - along with the rest of her family - to her wedding to Prince Harry.

'Meg I know that I’m not perfect, nor is anyone else in our family, as I’m sure you have read by now. But good, bad, or perfect, we’re the only family that you have,' he wrote in the letter, published on Friday by InTouch.

'It does hurt my feelings not getting invited to your wedding, along with the rest of the family. But it’s not too late to send me an invite along with yo

It’s like a soap opera. I wouldn’t wait by the mailbox if I were him what he did to Meghan and his family was an absolute disgrace and shameful.

The sad thing is that if those relatives of Meghan had behaved with decorum it would be easy to feel bad for them not getting invited.

I think Meghan's father should have been connected to someone at Kensington House who could ensure his travel arrangements and a suit and protocol advice and lessons. If that hasn't happened that is disturbing.

I think it will be ok to be honest. Despite the formality of the royal family the Queen and other members of the Royal family are well known for being relaxed and being able to put people who are nervous about meeting them at ease. I am sure Meghan has been able to answer any queries they may have about protocol etc. Kensington Palace staff may also have provided information to them. I think the two families will make an effort to get along and enjoy what will hopefully be a memorable and happy occasion.

Right. No sympathy at all for the relatives. If they’d behaved with decorum, they might even have gotten invitations. They’ve been boorish from the beginning and have only themselves to blame.

I imagine Meghan’s father was offered help, but I can also imagine him saying something like this to her: “Now don’t you worry about me, sweetie. You’ve got enough on your plate. I’m perfectly fine with getting a suit and making my own travel arrangements. You can give me protocol tips when I get there. Can’t wait for your big day! See you soon.” Parents can be so stubbornly independent LOL!
