I'm glad he is not assuming that the Smiths don't know where Gabriel is--or that they don't know what EJ did and who helped her.

I agree. I'm also glad he's not assuming that the Smiths do know anything. A good P.I. looks at all the logical possibilities.

Me too. I'm of the belief that at least one of the S's is involved up to her eyeballs.
Just her reticence to ever use the name "Gabriel" says to me she's totally up to no good. This baby this, this baby that, who talks like that? For 99.99% of the population that would be considered both weird and extremely disrespectful. The baby has a name. Use it.
Unless...she's trained herself to not use the name for fear of slipping up and using a "hidden" name.
I hope TS keeps up her combination of endless blathering and self righteous hubris. It may make finding answers easier for LE and/or Mr. Armes.

Gabriel is the name of an angel in the Bible, which Tammi is very in to. Could there be a connection, something odd like maybe that name shouldn't be spoken aloud, or shouldn't be given to a boy child born of an evil mother, or some other strange thing like that? Or maybe she's got it in her head that little Gabriel is some sort of prophet or savior and it's her job to go through all these trials and tribulations, to be accused and condemned by "mere mortals", to protect him from Satin (snickering....sorry).

Who knows? I agree with you it's beyond bizarre that she goes out of her way to deliberately NOT say the name.
Maybe this is a wacky theory, but I've even considered that (if someone is holding a kidnapped Gabriel) that TS is planning to use the name as a code or signal to the current kidnapper. You know, if you ever hear me use the name, "Gabriel" it means...(I don't know what it would mean, lots of possibilities).

It could also be her way of distancing herself from the pain of parting with him when she had to...as in saying his name hurts her too much. (just my opinion)

Thank you! Someone agrees with looking West! East is so obvious, and that's where EJ went (if they sent her there). I've said before that H's bio-dad even said, regarding their lies, that if they sent EJ East, LE needs to look West.

Anytime I've ever lied something like this came out of my mouth and tripped me up. (Not that I lie a lot or anything just little white lies or fibs when I was younger, you know what I mean :angel I feel that west for rest meant something! One thing we can count on a good profiler should not miss this.

I have had my own personal hunch from the earliest days, and it goes back to the evangelical and gospel music arena. I do believe in some of the reading material about Faye Yager's underground that this larger group was implicated as being involved in hiding children involved in custody disputes.

The more I saw Tammi's delusional and self-righteous belief that her lies and criminal actions were justified as "protecting" Gabriel, and all the comments from her more evangelical FB friends who had that same kind of thinking, the more I crossed over into thinking this could be true. I tend to think there might have been a combination of family AND evangelical fanatics involved as a hand-off from one to another.

And I do believe it is very possible that no one person knows anymore who has Gabriel, as each handoff might have also involved a different fictitious story about his origins. These people have been doing this successfully for many years.

I am close to two precious girls in their twenties now who were hidden and transferred as children between USA, Great Britain, China, Australia, New Zealand, and back to USA successfully by an 'underground' network. And these kids were milk-carton and FBI poster kids too!! They were only found on re-entering the country because of a passport glitch as they were leaving New Zealand.

I say this theory beats the diaper bag in the dumpster theory by a long shot. Leave no stone unturned. Go get 'em, PIs.

Interesting information and I agree about the multiple handoffs, I think that is quite possibly what has happened.

Thank you for relaying the story about the two girls, it's wonderful they were found and should give us all hope. Yeah, go get 'em, I have very high hopes!

I think the involvement of this investigator has to be bad news for the Smiths, if they are smart enough to realize it. LE is already using their big tool, felony charges, which will require them to pony up significant resources just to defend TS. They've put them on defense rather than offense, so to speak and that might lessen some of the obvious pleasure TS feels as she basks in this dubious limelight. Her arrest might also give anyone else involved a bit of a pause to think of what might be the consequences for involvement in this high-profile case. Armes is an expert in finding kidnap victims and can use tools that LE doesn't have. He's also a Texas guy so he's on home ground, at least to start. So I think things are looking up this week.
