I have a question...
If I move a case I was following (subscribed thread) to a folder, will I still be notified if there is a new post? Or does it have to stay in the "main" subscribed thread area?
For instance: a case I followed has been resolved, trial is over, person is in prison. If I move that thread to a folder would I be notified if someone posts an update that the person is up for parole? Thank you!

You stumped us! We're testing it out ourselves.

I have subscribed threads in a couple of different folders other than the main one, and I still receive notifications when new posts are added.

How can I tell if my replies to PMs have been sent? In the past it hasn't been a problem, but this past week, I hit submit, then I can't find my response anywhere. I have not heard back from the people i responded to, and think maybe something wonky is going on.

Killarney - did you check your "sent" messages log? If the message was sent, it should show up there.

In the dropdown box where it says "inbox" change it to read "sent messages" and all your sent messages should show up.

I did check it and none of my sent messages are showing up there. In the past they have.

I last sent a message a few weeks ago that I know worked because i got a response to it, but as of a week ago, I can't be sure.

I'm using a tablet now if it makes a difference. But I was using it a few weeks ago with no problem.

A lot of times my sent messages don't show up, idk. But the person has already replied so i knew it went through

From the web interface at least, you have to manually click a button to save a copy of your sent PM.

I was thinking that, but I have responded to two different mssges. One is a person i PM regularly and who responds right back, but hasn't, so I was a bit concerned. Guess ill just wait and see.

You could request a "read receipt". When you're typing a pm, scroll down to "additional options", and check the box next to "Request a read receipt for this message".

In the same area, make sure the box is checked next to "Save a copy of this message in your Sent Messages folder". (This option can be pre-set in your User Control Panel under Settings & Options --> Edit Options --> Private Messaging.)

Hello Mod's I have a question . I know you can go up to search and look at old posts i have written or threads but is there a way when iam reading about a case that Iam interested in that i can flag it or tag it add it to a favourites list so that say when i sighn in after being loged off for a day or longer I can sighn on and beable to right away click on like a favourites so i can see all the cases that i have taged as a favourite so i can see those ones iam most interested in first .Is there a way to do that..

Another question. Is it possible to adjust my settings so that I don't see signature lines and pics of other members when they post? I get tired of seeing and scrolling through the huge ones.
Not a mod, but anyway....go to Quick Links, click Edit Options, and scroll down to Thread Display Options, Visible Post Elements. Unclick as needed.

I am not a mod, but I believe what you're asking about can be solved by "subscribing". When viewing a thread, on the top right you can click "Thread Tools", and then "Subscribe to this Thread".

Then to view the list of threads you are subscribed to, on the top bar (under where it says "Welcome, Username" and alerts you of PM's) you can click "Quick Links", "Subscriptions".

Sorry if that is not what you were asking for!

DIXIE811 you da man or woman lol Thank you . I see now and iam subscribed to many threads so iam assuming then since i have never subscribed like u said too and yet i allready am subscribed I take it that if you post a message in a thread that automatically subscribes me ..Thanks alot for the help..
