OK,.. I typically don't rant. I quietly sit here tonight biting my tongue every turn I take on this board. I know it's inappropriate to ask that everyone think like I do,.. that's ridiculous of course... and I'm very open minded, but here's whats troubling me tonight.

When I first came to WS I felt like I was enjoying it more then. I enjoyed it because I actually felt like I was helping in my own feeble way to find a missing girl, in a past life I was probably a P.I (lol).

Now, I'm just very frustrated sifting through all the repeat threads, repeats on Casey's guilt, not enough investigating into the facts of media reports... Casey lies, Casey is a bad mother, Casey this Casey that!

ex: OoooooO George blew up today in front of the media, but the focus here should be what he said, instead of "he's lying too", or "it probably runs in the family", "another lie to cover up what Casey did to throw us off"

rather not enough thinking outside the box, and exploring the possibilities...

"When I hear George yelling that we need to get our facts straight and that wasn't his granddaughters body in the trunk, of course my personal feelings aside I would want to know the truth about that statement.. so I look at "all" the possibilities, while most on this board are too quick to ignore his statement simply because they may have been caught lying before."

There's not enough "Sleuthing" on finding Caylee. Do online research tips, leads, reports to her whereabouts, as any "websleuth" should do. I'm extremely bored of the irrelevant focus, and not enough focus on Caylee... every click into most threads I find is mostly ranting or bashing.

I mean honestly, how hard is it to click on the search button above and search the word "ranting"? I found it in under 5 seconds, I actually counted!

I have tried to post threads with facts discovered on the web, like any true web sleuth would do, some of that info was removed from this board!!

Am I supposed to be forever reading Casey's "frying", Cindy's "crying", George is "lying",... blah blah blah

I want to know if Caylee is still alive and missing could SHE be "dying" right now?

I hope that it is found that they caught ZFG with Caylee, and that there is truth to Casey's story of what happened,... Because that would mean Caylee is alive.

We don't need to "find" Casey's frying pan, or Cindy's tissue, or George's nose growing....

I am really angry that she is able to get out of jail AGAIN!! Why is it that a book or movie or tv primetime special is more important than justice for Caylee?? WHY?

I haven't been posting much... just sitting back reading every now & then. I sooo miss the general threads but anyways. I'm about to BLOW!!

I am soooo livid that Miss {Princess} Casey will be probably getting out of jail once again. :banghead:

I can just see her little smirk on her face now :dance:-- she's locked up, yet she still has sooo much control...

*She's controlling her parents (they still think some person has Caylee I guess, regardless of any evidence that the bad guys {LE} have);
*she's controlling the media (I'm sure Casey loves the attention, negative or not -- she's a celebrity now with those big glasses & booty shorts);
*she's controlling everyone/anyone trying to help find Caylee (I know I'm going insane just thinking about what happened to HER poor little girl from several states away!);
*and now she's able to walk right out of jail AGAIN and laugh in everyones faces. What is wrong here?!?!!?? :doh:

I just hope and pray that Caylee is found soon and able to be laid to rest peacefully -- instead of becoming just another piece of trash in some landfill or buried in some shallow grave like an animal.

And I just hope and pray that Miss Casey is locked up for life (too bad stoning is out these days) :behindbar and that her family can FINALLY accept the reality of the situation. Casey deserves to never sleep in another warm, soft bed and never take nice hot bubble baths. No delivered pizzas in the penn, too bad. The Anthony's deserve peace and to know the truth too (regardless of how bad Cindy drives me bonkers everyday!).

Ugggghhhh... there, I do feel a little better atleast! Whew!

I hate to rant. Getting upset and getting angry and frustrated makes me physically ill.

I get severe headaches jumping from thread to thread all the time to try to find out what is going on. The general threads were a pain in the rear because too many people would come to the last post without reading anything that went before it, slowing down the brainstorming and camaraderie that was there. It was nice to throw out an idea and see if anyone else would build on it, then take it to a thread to discuss further. It was nice to cheer on someone who I felt was onto something and to watch the idea grow and be built upon, then following them to a new thread. Now I check the threads to see what is going on but the flow is gone. Perhaps newbies, myself included, could be restricted from posting somehow until all the stickies / rules / TOS, etc have been read and agreed to? I don't know the answer to this..

I made some mistakes because I am still a newbie and learning even though I read all of the stickies and lurked for quite a while.

Many of you have puters that will open multiple tabs. For some reason, my puter locks up when I try to open another WS thread on another tab. I have to open many windows, slowing down puter and likely clogging bandwidth to server. If I want to google, I have to close WS windows due to insufficient memory, even though I have a fairly new puter with tons of memory, optimized, defragged, cleaned, etc. Tonight my mouse died and my repetitive strain injury from using the mousepad is acting up. BooHoo

I have been following this case from the beginning. When I googled for info on the case, this site was frequently cited. I am not a chat person usually but when I finally decided to take a look, I found that the intelligence and respect on this site was amazing; that you were not just rubberneckers but actually investigators that were making a positive difference in the world from your home computers.

My home puters are basically all that I have left as a means of contributing to the world. They are my eyes and ears and hands due to my health. The only thing I have left is what is left of my brain - which is also deteriorating faster than I would like.

People think I am smart but you guys totally blow me away. The amazing knowledge and talents you all bring to the table create an awesome sleuthing taskforce. The patience to teach that many of you exhibit outway the short tempers and impatience of the few and the downright rudeness of some.

This case is making everybody nuts. I have many ideas in my head but nowhere to vet them anymore.

Done ranting. Still don't feel any better. Oh well.

Rant for me here. I'm not a mod so ignore me if you must. But please do a search for a similar thread before you create one. Alot of threads are merely questions that can be asked in an existing thread. IMO, creating a thread to have your question answered is not cool. I know that the WS function does not provide all the answers. But I have seen duplicate threads within a couple of lines from each other, that could be easily seen .

WS is NOT a chatroom. Space is wasteful and costly whether it's excessive spacing or bold font or whatever. Keep in mind whatever you do might be what the mods have to clean up. I've sent no less than a dozen requests for mods to combine threads and TOS violations.

Please provide links. Do not post an entire article in violation of copyright rules.

As with everyone else here I am very angry that Casey will be allowed to walk out of jail.

Today I sent George a email, when I heard Cindy had sent her email to the newspaper about LP & Tim Miller. grrrrrrrrrrrr The gall of her!

Tonight my thoughts went elsewhere. I watched Nancy Grace & heard Cindy wanted the sheriff to apologize to her / his reply was its never gonna happen!!!!! I thought about the disgruntled look on the Sheriff's face. This man is out trying to find her granddaughter & she wants an apology????

My thoughts are the sheriff is going to find Caylee then ask the DA to go for the death penalty. Caylee's little life is no game.... the A should be kissing the sheriffs feet for hunting for her. When Casey is on death row for murder lets see there reaction then. Its coming......

Hi Zadari, I am somewhat new here and I can relate to your frustration... I have smoked more cigarettes this last 11 weeks than I have had in awhile... I am a mother of three and this story has really had me consumed! I can't work, and have lagged on home responsibilities! It is heartwarming to say the least that I have joined WS to follow this case and see all the wonderful WSers who want to bring justice for Caylee. That in itself helps me get by and what keeps me FUMED to continue to pray for getting her home! You are not alone my friend... Caylee, the angels will bring you home, follow them little one...

JBean, All I do is scan and search. I can't imagine what the mods have to do.

ETA: I worked for over ten years for a New York Publisher and I know how serious copyright violations are. It's no joke. I wish everyone would be more careful.

If the mods have to continue to spend hours every night cleaning up all the duplicate threads etc, I am afraid they will just shut it down period. It is not that hard to look to see if something already has a thread. It is just not that difficult to take a few minutes to see if a thread already exists. Poster please take the time before the mods blow their stack.

Thanks JBEan and Suzi.. I am new and I know it was hard to get through the General threads, but IMO I found it a little easier to search for the topic I was interested in and then posted my comments there.. Most of the time when I had an idea for a new thread someone already started one, so I would continue there and read and then post. I still think WS is a great place and it just takes a little extra time to read which I am ok with. It can be frustrating at times, but I just do what I can when I have the most time available. I am happy I joined, there are so many people smarter than I on here with great thoughts and theories... Sometimes I feel stupid to post, because I don't want to sound unintelligient :doh:. I know I am babbling, but I am just so happy to get some quiet time now that the kids are sleep... ok back to reading.

I also wasn't sure where to put this post but when doing a search and seeing the word "Rant" it sure fit the bill.

I am just now watching NG. I get her show at midnight on HNN.

So I'm listening and it just hit me (and since I'm slow on the uptake I'm sure it hit all of you long before this)....
No matter what happens, if they find Caylee or not, it's a win-win for Cindy.
Sick, huh?

Lemme 'splain.....
Cindy has said many, many times that if Caylee isn't found soon something is going to happen to her.

In Cindy's world, if Caylee is found alive, Cindy can gloat in her righteousness to any and all who will listen.."See? I told you she was alive!" And I'm sure she'd be demanding apologies from everyone that walks this earth.

If Caylee's body is found she can say "SEE! I told you something would happen to her if she wasn't found quickly!! This is all your faults. If you hadn't been on my lawn waiting for the next interview you all could have been out looking for Caylee, you maggots!"

If Caylee/body is never found, Cindy can continue till eternity telling the world Caylee is alive but kidnapped and LE and Searchers were too busy looking for a body and the kidnappers got away with Caylee.

She wins (in her mind) no matter how it ends, right?

Now, a suggestion:
I belonged to a board in the recent past that allowed for messages to be sent both to the board and to the person you are quoting.
In other words, if I ask a question and someone answers, the responder clicks a little box and the reply goes to the board and to me as a PM.
This helped the questioner...they didn't have to scroll through many, many pages to see if their question was answered.
They could look in their PMs, see the answer and then go about their business of looking at the new postings.
When I'd get a PM with a response to my question I would first send a message back to the person that answered and tell them 'Thank you' and maybe add a bit of chit-chat as pertained to the question.
Then I wouldn't spend the next 45 minutes scrolling through pages of posts looking to see if anyone responded to me and I could get to the business at hand....reading the newest posts.

Good idea? If you think it's a decent idea, to help folks get to sleuthing instead of scrolling to find their answer, how would we implement it? Through the mods? Through Tricia? Does it just involve a little tweeking by Tricia of the html stuff when creating a little checkbox for this?
It's late...just thinking out loud.

Bravo! Thank you for laying it out there perfectly - our Home can be complained about elsewhere instead of here where it's hard enough to keep up with the amount of postings on this case.

As always, I will hear her start the broadcast with the words "Police tonight desperately searching for a beautiful little 3 year old Florida girl Caylee." I hear that in my sleep. It's driving me nuts, come up with something new. PLEASE.
And as always I will watch anyway. So will my fiancee, who hates Nancy Grace. With a passion. I was ambivalent about her before this case, now I can't stand her either. Darn tabloid journalism.
