Yeah, true, anyone can say anything, so occasionally rape victims may tell the truth about what happened to them. JMO.

How does one have proof they are innocent of made up charges?

There were some dates and times and places mentioned. The most obvious thing would be to show you have an alibi and were somewhere else altogether.

And with some false claims, the alleged victim may have some reason/motive/mental illness and where in this case, motive for such a "conspiracy" against BC hasn't been established and is lacking. For example, in Tawana B. case TB potentially feared severe parental punishment ("Writing about the case in a 2004 book on perceptions of racial violence, sociologist Jonathan Markovitz concluded "it is reasonable to suggest that Brawley's fear and the kinds of suffering that she must have gone through must have been truly staggering if they were enough to force her to resort to cutting her hair, covering herself in feces and crawling into a garbage bag." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tawana_Brawley_rape_allegations ).

ETA- And this isn't to say at some point TB wasn't sexually assaulted, but false ids. That is not a problem in BC case because alleged victims directly stated BC drugged and raped them, so it's not a false identification case (as I think you have brought up before Donjeta). Jmo

The Worst Part About Bill Cosby's Rape Joke
It reportedly drew cheers and applause when he uttered it at a stand-up show in London, Ontario on Thursday.
National Journal

http://www.nationaljournal.com/politics/the-worst-part-about-bill-cosby-s-rape-joke-20150109

"Rape jokes generally don't pass that test, least of all when they come from a man who stands accused of multiple counts of rape...Or maybe the fact that Cosby stands accused of drugging and raping multiple women is part of the humor? From here, it just sounds like a textbook definition of rape culture."

BBM Exactly this. And dismissive tones from BC's defenders is just enabling the rape culture. It's sickening really, imo.

Bill Cosby's 'drinking' joke incurs more Gloria Allred wrath, fresh outcry

By Meredith Blake
http://www.latimes.com/entertainmen...-cosby-joke-gloria-allred-20150109-story.html

"In a statement to The Times, Gloria Allred, who is representing seven of the more than two dozen women who've accused Cosby of sexual misconduct, lashed out at the former sitcom star:..."This so-called joke by Mr. Cosby combined with his failure to issue a clear denial of the many serious accusations of drugging and sexual assault which have been made against him will be part of Mr. Cosby’s shameful legacy.""

Allred is exactly who is needed is this type of case because she won't back down to BC pressure and hopefully has the means to uncover more on BC allegations. BC obviously has the means to hire PIs to attack alleged victims characters, it doesn't mean others can't hire private investigators to do likewise with BC. Jmo

women who conveniently have all waited until the statue of limitations is up.

Snipped for focus. Again, you are wrong on this. I posted the link about Chloe Goins above. I wish you would stop stating this as fact when it is a lie.

Moreover, Lachele Covington and Andrea Constand went to the authorities within the statute of limitations. We just didn't hear about it at the time, or pay attention.

Gloria Allred weighed in on Cosby rape jokes:

http://www.latimes.com/entertainmen...-cosby-joke-gloria-allred-20150109-story.html
Angela Rose, founder of the Chicago-based advocacy organization Promoting Awareness, Victim Empowerment, also expressed her dismay at Cosby's remarks.

"As both a survivor of sexual assault and as an advocate, I am appalled at Bill Cosby making a joke about drug and alcohol-facilitated sexual assault," she said. "This disgraceful, reprehensible act shows an absolute lack of tact. Rape can have a devastating impact on victims, which sometimes can take a lifetime to heal."After the show, Cosby issued a statement thanking the people of London, Ontario and obliquely referencing one heckler in the audience who is reported to have called him a "rapist":"Dear Fans: One outburst but over 2,600 loyal, patient and courageous fans enjoyed the most wonderful medicine that exist for human-kind. Laughter. I thank you, the theatre staff (Budweiser Gardens), the event organizers and the London, ON Community for your continued honor and support. I'm Far From Finished.”

It's not slander until it sees a court room, though. Why aren't BC's lawyers suing for slander?

More to the point, how is it that you're willing to accuse these women of slander, with no evidence whatsoever, while you're unwilling to entertain the possibility that they may be telling the truth about rape or sexual assaults? Neither side of this has seen a court. But you're willing to dismiss so many women who have no connection to each other while defending one man, against whom there appears to be a good deal of evidence. It doesn't seem the least bit consistent to me, and it highlights one of the big reasons women are so often reluctant to come forward in rape cases.

I do have to agree with you here...
If one needs to take side one way or the other... Why would we discount multiple statements by females... And accept accounts by one sole man...

DIANE DIMOND: An open letter to Camille Cosby

Please don't tell me, Mrs. Cosby, that you actually buy the idea that all these women are after your husband's money. Only a couple of them filed lawsuits since the one in 2005 was settled. One who said she was raped when she was 15 after your husband snuck her into the Playboy Mansion. Another accuser filed a defamation claim only after your husband's attack-dog attorney called her a liar. I'd call that a self-inflicted problem.

You may think this is all a big mistake that can be rectified by attacking the accusers, but cancellations of Cosby performances by networks, theaters, universities and withdrawn honors from the U.S. Navy tell another story. The word “rapist” scrawled across your husband's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame gives you a stark glimpse at the public's opinion.

Bill Cosby’s Hamilton show, as reviewed by comedian Rebecca Kohler
http://news.nationalpost.com/2015/0...-show-as-reviewed-by-comedian-rebecca-kohler/

I went to see an interesting show last night. It was called Accused Sex Offenders Say the Darndest Things, a.k.a. Bill Cosby live in Hamilton. I was torn when asked to review Bill Cosby but I figured that as a woman and a stand-up comic, it would at the very least be a fascinating experience. I wasn’t disappointed.

...
I understand that Cosby has not been convicted of a crime, but I’m one of those softies who believes that the smoke of 20-plus women must indicate some kind of fire — like the indoor protesters chanted at last night’s show, I believe the women. And watching someone who you believe to be a rapist tell jokes feels, for lack of a better word, gross.

Off the top, Cosby commended the protesters outside for enduring the cold weather because of their beautiful “human spirit” and their dedication to what they believe in. To the fans in there who don’t believe the allegations, I’m sure this made Cosby sound like a good sport. But to me, this was arrogant condescension to the max. Imagine protesting violence against women and turning around to find someone like Ray Rice patting you on the back, “Good for you. Keep it up.”

Vivica Fox Takes A Stance On Bill Cosby Scandal: “I Stand By Him As Well”
“I’ve worked on ‘The Cosby Show’and was honored to do the show,” she added. “I have to agree with Keisha: The man I met was nothing like the man they are describing. He was nice, kind. There were no sexual overtones.”

The question is, does a man have to rape every woman he comes across to be a serial rapist?

If a man is accused of being a serial killer, is his innocence proven if we can still find some people who he didn't kill?

http://www.newsmax.com/Newsmax-Tv/Bill-Cosby-Gloria-Allred-sexual-allegations/2015/01/09/id/617699/

High-profile plaintiffs' lawyer Gloria Allred told Newsmax TV on Friday that in addition to three women she introduced to the news media this week, others will come forward "soon" with sexual assault allegations against actor and comedian Bill Cosby.

"There are many more women who have contacted me who alleged they were victimized by Cosby," the Los Angeles-based lawyer told "MidPoint" host Ed Berliner. "Some of them will be speaking out in the future."

In the comment section there's finally one theory on who's behind the conspiracy (Obama, Holder, Sharpton and Jackson).

http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/three-new-bill-cosby-accusers-761594

Famed feminist attorney Gloria Allred hosted the new accusers during a news conference Wednesday in L.A. (the conference was live streamed on TMZ's website). The women were identified as Linda Kirkpatrick, Lynn Neal, and a woman named "Kacey," who claimed she met Cosby through her assistant post at WMA (now William Morris Endeavor).

Only one problem: Sharpton's daughter has publicly defended Cosby, and Cosby supported Sharpton during the Tawana Brawley fiasco.

That's how clever the conspirators are.

Tina Fey and Amy Poeller are co-hosting the Golden Globes, were fearless about roasting BC. This may be the high point of my week! [emoji4]

Oh, and not not a single boo from the crowd of Hollywood stars.

I gave them a standing ovation last night. Two very smart, very talented, very strong women who aren't afraid to speak their minds - IMO :)

Also, why are they trying to dig up dirt on the accusers rather than dig up evidence that, for example, BC couldn't have committed such-and-such assault because he was performing in a different state on that date?

If you can't refute the message, attack the messenger. That's why.

This is very telling about Cosby's character, IMO. Dirty pool.

Bill Cosby
Accuser's Ex-BF
Sues CNN for $19 Million

We contacted CNN before the show aired, and ended up with a letter the network sent to Cosby's lawyer saying Burk was a criminal with an ax to grind and lived with Johnson long after she was allegedly drugged. As a result they said he was not included in the special.

Burk is now suing CNN ... claiming the network gave TMZ the letter it sent to Cosby's lawyer, attacking his credibility and as a result his reputation has been damaged.
