I think thats is the kind the R's had also.Chrishope said:What kind of flashlight was it? I have a large maglite that takes 4 D-cells. I could crack a 6 year old's scull with it, I'm sure.
You might be right. I am not really sure about how it happend and it might very well be more malice behind it. I just think explaining it at the hospital they might feel that they would not be believed. Heck, it is even hard to imagine how it happened that way, I just leave the possibility open.rashomon said:But if it was a truly 'innocent' accident, I'm 100 per cent convinced that the parents would have taken their child to the hospital at once. There would have been no need to cover something up.
That might just be what PR was thinking when she swung it.aussiesheila said:It is physically impossible for a hand held flashlight swung at JonBenet's head to have caused that huge fracture.

Hi Pharlap. There are many that could have known.Pharlap said:Well the thing I don't get is the note $118.000. Inless they(ramseys) wanted it to look like someone in the company did it. Who else would know Mr. R got that amount?
So they chose a figure that would point to them in an attempt to point the finger at someone else who was trying to point it at them? The 2 of them agreed that this would be a good idea? The thought process behind" let's make it look like someone else was trying to make it look like we did it" is bizarre at best.I cannot buy into that theory as it just doesn't make any sense.Peter Hamilton said:Pharlap--exactly--The 118,000 was used by the Ramseys to focus attention on someone else, someone in the company who may have had a grudge against John--an inept and amateurish attempt by them
It would be nice if the only question at the moment was whether JMK did it, or not. I don't think he did it, but I think thsi is a great chance for the Boulder D.A./PD to get a lot closer to the guy that did. Whoever did this has to be getting a little upset that JMK is taking credit for something he did.JBean said:So they chose a figure that would point to them in an attempt to point the finger at someone else who was trying to point it at them? The dollar amount definitely leads away from the Ramseys IMO.
I agree Buzz. The chances of JMK being the guy are so remote, but I do imagine the killer being someone like JMK. If that is the case, you are right, he or she is probably getting a little perturbed by now.Buzzm1 said:It would be nice if the only question at the moment was whether JMK did it, or not. I have also read, that this statement is not true. So I don't know what to believe.SuperDave said:"I can't get past the chronic sexual molestation. She'd been didled before the 25th/26th."
It is a nasty stumbling block.
Hi LP. I do believe this is debated to this day, much like the strangulation before the head blow debate.lilpony said:I have also read, that this statement is not true. So I don't know what to believe.![]()

Not FACT. Experts disagree about this.
Hi JB...I can't keep up here. I'm overwhelmed! But I want to know what happened to JonBenet! :furious:JBean said:Hi LP. I do believe this is debated to this day, much like the strangulation before the head blow debate.
From the separating fact from fiction thread:
Just be careful of things that are stated as fact. Often times it truly is, but some times it isn't and that can lead to even more confusion.lilpony said:Hi JB...I can't keep up here. I'm overwhelmed! But I want to know what happened to JonBenet! :furious:
Wasn't he making arrangements to get the cash?wenchie said:Why didn't John go and get the money as instructed, in case the "kidnappers" called and asked for it immediately?
After all....the note said that he was being "monitored".
One would think that if he believed the ransom note, at the very least he would have gotten that adequately sized attache' and gone to the bank.
Horrific, poor JonBenet, no one should have to go through what she did! Do you know if it is fact about prior sexual abuse?JBean said:Just be careful of things that are stated as fact. Often times it truly is, but some times it isn't and that can lead to even more confusion.
I would like to know what happened to her as well. Either which way it is a sad, tragic story.
