"Real Housewives" Russell Armstrong Commits Suicide

Does she think that these public appearances are going to help her through this? Is she suddenly a spokesperson for domestic abuse? I just don't understand the need for all the public appearances. just my own opinion

Oh I was not aware of any appearances besides Dr. Phil. What else has she been on?

I pray she gets the help she needs. My heart bleeds for her.

It was really hard to watch Taylor this week on Housewives. I agree they had some dark secrets that were about to be exposed. I think Taylor is making the appearances and selling the story because she needs the money. Shes desperate. Im not sure if thats right or wrong, but if she feels she needs to do it to provide for herself and her daughter...well, maybe she does. Its very hard on Russells family who have nothing good to say about Taylor. Which, I guess might be part of their denial. Sad all the way around.
But it makes good reality TV. I cant help but watch.

I would think most kids would want their pizza without vegetables on it, I know mine do.

I think it was a very long struggle for Taylor. I think she put up with it far too long.

Abuse is NEVER ok.

She is doing the appearances because she needs the money to pay her bills.

Poor thing. I know she needs the money.

And, she didn't have a voice for so long because she was scared of her own husband. As soon as she found her voice and left him, he killed himself.

Maybe she is trying to be a spokesperson of a sort for domestic violence. She lived through it. She suffered through it.
Maybe she wants to help others.

I can't fault her for that.

I didn't really like Taylor that much when the show first started. She turned me off pretty bad on the one episode where she had the over-the-top expensive birthday party for Kennedy. Seemed to me that party was all about Taylor and not Kennedy. I remember Taylors friend taking pictures of Taylor and Kennedy was just in the background with her nanny. Kennedy really didn't even seem to enjoy it that much. Anyways after Russell killing himself I just can't help but feel bad for the woman and I know exactly what she is experiencing right now. She will start to feel better and make better choices once she reaches the anger phase. When she is able to see that Russell left her with nothing but debt and a daughter to explain everything to. I see Russell as a coward. Tons of people get divorced and people don't kill theirselves because of it. Taylor will have to know that his suicide is not her fault and not her choice. She wanted to divorce the man, not see him dead. I feel really bad for Taylor now. I hope some of the other housewives will step-up and help Taylor out. I would hate for her to become an alcoholic living on the streets with her daughter. I hope the others stick by her side and support her in this difficult time. I feel no remorse for Russell because he was abusive to Taylor just like my first husband was to me. Some days I just want to spit on his grave for leaving me and then other days I sometimes cry. It is such a rollercoaster ride and it really sucks sometimes but this will make Taylor a stronger person.

My heart is broken for Taylor. She needs and I hope she is getting some serious help. Poor thing.

Her whole body shook several times while speaking.

I am praying that one day whe will be whole again.

I've never been physically abused, so maybe I just don't understand. But how can she miss and love someone (everyday) that knocks her in the jaw? I can say I was emotionally abused by an ex who cheated on me (and gave me an STD). I can honestly say I loathe the guy to this date and probably wouldn't blink if he was hit by a truck.

But when I hear her say how much she misses him I just don't get it. Is that survivor guilt or something?

She explained this on the RHW reunion show the other night.

She said she realizes its very hard for people to understand, but after years of being controlled, when you don't have it anymore you miss it and you are unsure what to say or do. Because you have had someone tell you every step to make and everything you should or should not say.

She said she had low self esteem before they met and his control helped her in a weird way.

Russell admitted to hitting Taylor. So it's not as if she's making this up or faking injury photographs.
