what rumor with rob thomas? and what is this about a contract? i heard something like that with him and nicole..

Supposedly he had a little "thing" with Rob Thomas. Read up a bit on the contract. I posted it earlier.

Interesting how many others have heard about the "contracts."

That Rob Thomas's wife caught them getting it on... And a contract between Tom and katie for 5 year relationship ... Sorta like his and nicole's 10 year plan, ecept she gets the 5 year.

Maybe with becoming pregnant she gets another 5 years.....

If not staged, completely obnoxious! As a "soccer mom" I am disgusted! When did he have time to watch his daughter? And, was Nicole actually there too? Hope she had Keith Urban there (if so bet they weren't acting like the TOMKATs)!

I don't know if he's gay, has to offer contracts to get wives and children, or what, but the whole thing just creeps me out! The cult, the birth "rules," the PDAs, TMI about Katie's "virginity" (of course here I am, discussing it- my bad), the crappy way he treated Nicole (imo) and on and on...

This story just gets more bizarre! I agree, Nic surely has some stories. I highly doubt she would enter such a "contract," though they may have tried to get her to do so. Speaks to Tom's character that he did file just before the 10 year mark. I also believe it was to avoid a higher settlement. Maybe the SciFiologists ordered him to do so! Wonder what Ms. Cruz would have to say -- weren't they equally as gaggyloveydovey while together?

Honestly I can't imagine her parents being catholic and thinking this is ok. Especially since now there will be a baby involved in this stuff. I mean I doubt that they spent all that money to send her to an all girls catholic school for her to completely just go against it like that.

Who know, maybe when she gives birth to this child she will think what the heck was I thinking...

so true about the catholic school, i would be furious with my child.....i mean look, who are we really to judge, but come on, i know people have one night stands and people get pregnant unexpected but for crying out loud...what does he tell his children, he is in the spotlight all the time its not like they can hide this....and i guess i always thought when it comes down to it there is a right way that things should be done, dating, engagement, marriage then babies, but maybe i am just old school....

The one thing I don't get is that Mimi Rogers had said they tried for so long to get her pregnant - didn't work. Same with Nicole. All of a sudden Nicole was pregnant at the end of their relationship and now Katie. Almost makes you wonder if he didn't want biological children - for whatever reason.

Maybe it's just after years of practicing he finally got it to work right! :innocent:

Do you remember when all of this divorce stuff happened? Nic said she was shocked and didn't expect it. She got really sick after that and miscarried. When Tom was asked why he filed...he said....Nic was not shocked....she knows what she did. There were big stories of him accusing Nic that the baby was not his. Later, this was proven to false, and indeed the baby was his. I guess they must not live in a no-fault state, or otherwise, it shouldn't have even been brought up in the divorce. There was dna testing on that miscarried baby. I guess he thought after so many years of trying, it couldn't be his. Stupid fool!
One of my dear friends went through 10 years of trying to conceive. She even had in vitro to have her first child. She got pregnant AGAIN within three months of delivering the first child. No drugs, no nothing to help that second one. She was shocked, the doctor was shocked, and so was her husband. Strange things happen. If the Tom had waited long enough for Nic to have an amniocetisis, then he would have know that the baby was his. I have no respect for loser Cruise.

Interesting article though. The kids make their own decisions as people!? The girl is 5 yrs and makes her own decisions!? I'd like to hear more about the decisions she makes....the boy too.

We all know how normal it is for us to put our 6 year old and her friends in a limo and send them on to the A. Awards. I'm sure there wasn't a soul that could say a neg word about their behavior while attending the awards. Don't all 6 yr olds sit quietly for around 3 hours? How about that jet? I believe they have 3 of them at last count. When is the last time you jumped in your jet and flew away to hang with the kids in some far off place? They close the water slide for them....a daily happening in my life! Brother! Yep, perfectly normal in every way.

And you know that piece of paper called marriage can be such a nuisance, it takes a few months to get the prenup ready, probably even longer than the incubation of a child! Marriage is a huge commitment, but children, on the other hand, well, they're easy (with cooks and nannies and all) and besides, everybody deserves the joy of parenthood, who cares that it involves a real live human being who might deserve some stability?

Kinda funny that even though this is fairly public knowledge, Tom still tries to dispel the rumors by very publicly dating various women. Makes me wonder if he even touches Katie when they're not out in public.

Remember Rock Hudson. Such a handsome guy from the time he was a young man. He married a few times...saw his first wife interviewed not long ago. It was so interesting. She was upfront and honest about their relationship but didn't really have a bad thing to say about him. If my memory serves me, which it doesn't always as we know, she didn't know Rock was gay until much later and they did have a normal sex life for quite awhile.

Anyway, Rock was always dating a beautiful woman...always seen around Hollywood with one on his arm...lots of pictures. There were rumors here and there but it wasn't a known fact, that Rock was gay, until he got aids.

What a waste of a beautiful man. Ole Tom looks like a turd next to Rock Hudson in his younger years.

It looks to me like Tommy is trying to prove something to the world...smooching and hugging in public...sharing with the world that Kate was a virgin until she met Hot Stuff Cruise...got Kate pregnant right off the bat...WHAT A MAN :sick: In my book a REAL MAN doesn't have to be a loud mouth braggert to prove that is what he is.

It's like the guy that goes around bragging about what a great lay he is..."once you have sex with me you will NEVER want to have sex with anyone else" bragging about how big he is "down younder." In truth the guy is a lousy lay and is lucky if he has a inch. Those that have it feel no need to flaunt it because they don't need to. They know who and what they are. My little deceased sister loved Little House more than anything. She adored Michael Landon and she thought she was part of that household. Until the day she died she was still talking about him and no one told her that he had already died. Maybe she is experiencing a true little house aspect now. Gosh, I hope so.
