Interesting. So the call to remorse was in response to the victim impact statements. She was supposed to be addressing them and didn't. Used the words "these people" and never apologized or addressed them directly. Just "I wish I could have a do over" and "I wish I could take away their pain."
She just can't do it.
She also says she remembers her dad telling her he loved her when she was two and bouncing her on his knee and stuff. And how that changed.

I don't have any memories of me at two. Do you guys?
She talked about being remorseful for what appears to me to be about 5 minutes.
She also says she remembers her dad telling her he loved her when she was two and bouncing her on his knee and stuff. And how that changed.

I am bringing Steelman's comment over from the other thread because I think it's spot on....(thanks steelman!!:tyou
"I see where all of this "secret testimony" was headed now...............Jodi wanted to be able to say anything she wanted to in order to get sympathy from the jury without having to be cross examined by Juan in regards to her lies.
In other words "Just let me say what I want them to believe, and don't interrupt me.
This way the jury gets the impression that Jodi actually had a certain amount of remorse, without Juan contradicting it with the facts."
I done reading. She made the abuse at home much worse this time, especially between her mom and dad. Guess they are going for the whole " she stayed with travis cuz her mom stayed with her dad" defense.
