Sounds to me like DB was keeping their "affair" hidden too.... he could truthfully spout that they had separate rooms, his son thought of her like an aunt(not a prospective future stepmother, even after how many years??), he claims he told her up front that their was never any intention of him remarrying and iirc she supported that statement, heck I don't even recall any pics of the two of them kissing/cuddling/laying with their head in the other's lap, etc.

You got me thinking about how Jodi and Darryl may have not shown PDA because of his son, co-workers, his ex wife, and other "public" scrutiny of their May/December romance (if you will). JA was probably sick of being never able to marry someone (ie: Darryl) and with the LDS church influence (which highly encourages marriages) - she was "ripe" for finding a hubby. Travis was going to be "the one" for her come hell or highwater (IMO). Hence the amounts of public display of affection (and marking her territory) like the lap laying incident on video, etc.

#JodiArias DP defense has been sort of 2nd degree murder (even tho that cant happen) and her secret testimony seems to be leading there too.
