He is a slimebag and couldn't care less - if he thinks he can take advantage of it he will.

But I'm sure jss does and i can imagine her agreeing to call flores back at this time is probably going to be on some very extenuating circumstances. She may just say not happening nurmi call your next witness.

What would be the point of the defense team or JA's supporters making up a rumor like this? :sigh: KCL, Jen Trial Diaries, Court Chatter and plenty of others have directly or indirectly confirmed the new of Det. Flores' passing. I very much doubt they would do so without having received confirmation.

I agree, there would be no point. The defense team and her supporters are despicable at times, but I for one would never believe they would stoop to that level.

I really don't want to believe that, but I'm afraid you are probably right.

Zoey W...It's great that you find and want to post a great many media links. The problem for me, and I suspect others who read here on phones & tablets, is that your posts listing multiple links with commentary in between are very long and difficult to read. The links in any case are quickly buried as the thread moves on.

Have you thought about posting bundled links in the media/timeline thread? They'd be easier for others to reference if located in one place.

I'm sorry, but I don't consider anything on Facebook to be fact. Anybody can say anything on Facebook. Just look at Marc McGee for example. I find it odd that for someone having an accident, there is not one single news article even locally about it. Shouldn't there be a public safety announcement about the faulty rappeling equipment or an annoucement from a spokesman for the Flores family???

I agree Hope, sometimes I find myself skipping over them, not because of disinterest though. Zoey posts some interesting links, but the media timeline thread is a great idea. :)

Linask- stop feeling bad. What happened is shocking, you have been through a serious emotional scare and you want confirmation. No harm, no foul. I am thinking about you! (((((hugs)))))

I read here on my phone and I have no problem with ZoeyW's posts. They are great and she puts them together beautifully, usually adding excellent photo and video reference materials to a current conversation in the thread.

Marc McGee and this is apple and oranges. It's been reported by journalists who have covered the JA trial for months now and by Katiecoolady (via Zuri) who knows those involved personally.

Sadly enough, people die in tragic accidents all the time. They're not all immediately reported on - especially not during the weekends. Especially if the victim is not "high profile". There's nothing that has been reported about faulty equipment since the details surrounding Det. Flores' son passing hasn't (and shouldn't) be made public.

The Flores family is just a normal family. Why would they have a spokesperson?

People thinking this is somehow JA related and that she has been able to fool journalists, Katiecoolady and others, give the woman and her silly group of supporters WAY too much credit.

But I'm not going to keep talking about this since it's a personal tragedy and not JA related.

Saw another post online that said the accident happened at a Boy Scout camp

@PicklesBottom: @WildAboutTrial @TrialDiariesJ @courtchatter as an FYI, there will likely not be any news reports until tomorrow, Apache County has put off

I don't have Tapatalk. I do have the POV of a researcher who likes seeing resources centralized so they can be easily found and referenced.

Putting long lists of links in the timeline accomplishes that.

It is not the social media who would be wrong, if one person made the statement others would pick it up. No one is blaming social media or anyone, we just want to make sure it is true and no one has actually seen an actual confirmation. It is coming across as 'what we heard'. Already it went from an accident to zip line now to repelling. no one is trying to start a fight or disagreement, we just want factual confirmation. Anyone can report on an incident. With that I am not saying anymore as I refuse to be drawn into a heated discussion.

Mods you can remove this if you want. I hope you understand what I am trying to say. Thanks

BBM ~ Thank you. I think we need to stay focused and move away from this. This is the right time to discuss "facts" of a tragic death.

Thank you Ms. Josie for eloquently stating what I have been trying to.
