Because they claimed JA was a liar about it all (the porn)...and it may have been what ultimately led the jurors to find her guilty of 1st degree murder. Yeah, right.

Yeah, besides her confession, bloody palm print at the crime scene, hair in blood at the crime scene, and pictures of her with the bleeding victim, this is what pushed them over to guilty. :facepalm:

Arias either didn't know about the porn or she didn't think it would be useful to the last jury. Her focus was on her made up story of child porn. Now she's desperate and trying to create a mountain out of a molehill. She wants to imply that because Travis was into porn (if true) he was also interested in child porn. The message to the jury is: 'Travis was into porn. That's how much of a rotten guy he was. Since he liked porn we believe that he was also into child porn. We have no evidence but this is what we believe.'

Good point, Rose. This alleged porn wouldn't support the murderers allegations that he was a pedophile. So her story has now changed ? How convenient for the lying killer.

What is so sicking about the cost: for 2.5 million I could have sewn 1.25 million flannel blankets to give to local hospitals. I could have give 2.5 million to St. Judes. I could have bought 2.5 million in groceries for the food banks. But than again CMJA would not get the chance to make t-shirts, copy drawings, start re-cycle, or just take up space on earth.

Agree. I keep wanting the judge to do her job and say "This is all Irrelevant to Sentencing Phase". And just throw the thing out.

I think the judge loses sight of the big picture here. She automatically assumes the DT is doing things right.

Ever since last year I've wondered where Willmott keeps finding this steady stream of paralegals and research assistants (I assume she goes through them about as fast as Jodi stabs people), who so consistently feed her flat-out wrong information. Yet she keeps stepping up to the podium, like a trooper, and spouts utter nonsense, all the while either pretending it's not nonsense or just steamrolling over anything contradictory (and factual) that a prosecution witness might try to interject.

She may actually be a competent lawyer, I have no idea. Maybe she does a great job when she has an innocent client and actual facts to work with. If I were ever falsely accused of a crime, I'd certainly want a doggedly determined defense attorney. I understand that Wilmi (Nurmott? Kirniffer? Jirk?) have to avoid giving Jodi grounds for ineffective counsel appeals (they do have to, don't they? They can't intentionally throw the fight, can they? Without being disbarred?) But this became insane years ago... and yet here we are. Still.

Sorry, I'm rambling. I blame Nurmi.

"Let's back up a little." People keep referring to Jodi's computer-hacking skills. If it's true that Travis ever did in a moment of weakness give her any of his passwords, he surely must have changed them later. So how, actually, did Jodi get into his texts, email, Facebook, bank, and whatever else she apparently did get into? She may be smart in a diabolical kind of way, but she's no computer whiz and technology has advanced considerably since her early days snooping on Bobby on the Yreka library computer.

So did she just look up "hack computer" on Google? (And "major arteries," "self-representation," "TV make-up tips," "how to sound like a Mormon," etc, etc, etc?)
