This trial is getting more and more disgusting.

If a man drove from CA to AZ to kill his former female lover, no question, it'd all be over. He'd be in prison, sentenced to death. The end. No groupies, beyond the usual odd ones, but no trashing the victim. No trashing the det. It would be over.

I am just devastated. If she just walks away scott free this will finish the Alexander family for good. They will not recover.

Is there a possibility that Flores could have done this since he is a Mormon himself?

I just don't know what to believe. I hope there is some way to retrieve what kind of sites they were.

And why after all of this time? Didn't the defense expert have Travis' computer during the guilt phase?

The detective did not do this. She slaughtered him and she is guilty. Period. Lots of men look at and I don't like it but this is a smear tactic and Det Flores would never do this because he is Mormon. That's just the way Jodi would spin it!

She still probably planted the files on his computer. Maybe he did open them not knowing what the files were??? I'm still giving Travis the benefit of the doubt over a lying, stalking, obsessive, narcissistic psychopath murderess.

It doesn't work that way. Your computer has an IP address with your ISP.

That IP address shows the location of you at any website.

The only way this is possible, is if Jodi created a CD of images prior to her going to Mesa, then downloading them onto his computer while she was there on Jun4.

They would have had to have seen them when they searched the computer. Both sides had access to evidence. If Nurm is pulling this out now, then he's dumb. Uh,...if it were true, why not pull it out during the trial?

Why would Flores jeopardize his case against Jodi by unnecessarily destroying evidence against her when what he had was rock solid? It would be a monumental act of stupidity.

The DT has been targeting Flores because getting your client off for police misconduct has been pretty successful for other criminals, including Debra Milke. It's why they wanted his records, it's why they've been targeting him and his wife. If they make him look shady enough maybe a future appeals court will see the same and overturn her conviction.

Oh, this is so sad.

Exactly. A sad day when you can be slaughtered and your killer never gets what is coming to her. We will see. I didn't know Nurmi could stoop this low.

To expand on this, even if it were true that evidence was destroyed (and I don't buy this for a second), why would anyone in that department manually delete images from a hard drive? They are presumably well aware that images and files "deleted" from a hard drive can be recovered. If someone was going to destroy evidence, the most logical thing to do would be to "lose" the entire hard drive.

Well, apparently even their own expert (the above mentioned Dworkin) didn't even find it. Whatever this is, it's probably not legit. And, again, if Nurmi felt confident about this, he'd open his case up to the public.

I'd also like to understand Nurmi's definition of , since he likes to think a yotube video of people dancing to a popular song constitutes and makes Travis a deviant.

I'm not gonna worry yet. Everything is telling me this makes no sense. I need to see Juan's rebuttal to this before I panic.

I will say that I'd previously thought it odd that a grown man who was clearly aware of pornographic phrases on the phone sex call did not have any .

But the only way to wipe this away would be to wipe out the hard drive and all the information would be gone. That clearly didn't happen here. You can't just delete something, it would have been found unless the hard drive was wiped.

BBM. That's exactly what I think she did either then or prior to moving back to Yreka. That's if these images ever even existed. I never suggested she did it remotely.

Swung for fences? That's not how I would describe it. If this "expert" is like their guy who testified about what could be seen in TA's eyes from a photo, Nurmi needs to be SANCTIONED. Enough of turning this trial into a freak show.

You don't have to wipe a hard drive to get rid of . All it is is just files.

Whatever you did with it, it would still be there. It's impossible to completely delete anything unless you wipe your hard drive. Any computer expert will tell you this.

And any avenue taken to overwrite the file would render it completely unfindable. This expert would not have found what previous experts missed. It's impossible, actually.

To me, it makes no sense that Flores would do this. It isn't against the law to have on your computer. Why would he take the risk? Makes no sense.

Travis doesn't have to be pure as the driven snow. No one deserves to be butchered.

She did bring cd's to his house. I believe she told him they were pictures of there trips, if I am remembering correctly.

The hard drive was examined by DT before the retrial began.....when JACK was pro per. Examined at her insistence.

And Nurmi waited until now to mention this? Really?
