Because it could be argued that it supports her claims of sexual abuse and the incident where he "broke her finger" because she walked in on him viewing kiddie 🤬🤬🤬🤬 and thus by extension her self defense claim.

ETA it's not a super strong argument but it could still be made.

Ridiculous, when she stabbed him 29 times and almost beheaded him, which doesn't even come close to self defense. But if this is the case, then our justice system is truly corrupt and there is no justice. From this I can totally understand where the mentality of 'vigilante justice' comes from. JMO

We are all suppose to believe that Jodi killed a man in self defense. And then asked the DAs office to give her 25 to life. All in an effort to keep Travis's secret. What a bunch of carp.

The other day Nurmi accused Juan of exploiting the case in the media because he wouldn't object to their presence. I thought WHAT?! He's exploiting the media??? This DT, including Jodi, are the greatest media manipulators I have ever seen!
That was the day after the Arias family panhandling video made its debut on YouTube.

Hey I'm not saying I agree with it. I'm just relaying what their argument will be. Our justice system isn't perfect. But IMO it's the best one in the world. But it's made by humans and run by humans so it won't always work perfectly.

This is also not to say that I believe her conviction will be overturned. We just have to wait and see what, if any, evidence Nurmi digs up. I'm inclined to believe this is nothing but smoke and mirrors and is yet another delay tactic or a last straw attempt to get one of the jurors to see coverage.

But if it is smoke and mirrors Nurmi made one hell of a horrific allegation against the State. Brady violations are serious charges.

Yes, I agree with every word except the part about our justice system being the best in the world. It is certainly leaps and bounds above some, but given its primary objective is to protect society and given how often it falls short in that regard, IMO it is not the best system in the world.

I defiantly think our justice system has shortcomings and flaws but I will take our justice system over that of any other justice system in this world. The only true and perfect justice is not one that can be gained in this life, only that can be obtained in the next life. But until Jodi gets the punishment she so rightfully deserves in the next life I want her behind bars so she can't hurt anyone else.

IIRC you've mentioned one source a few times for knowledge about prosecution opinions and goings on--the woman who prosecuted your sister's murderers.

At this point I probably have more friendly sources in the Maricopa County Attorney's office than Michael Kiefer does. And I'm a lot more fun at parties. ;)

I wish someone would tell the COA that both Brewster & Womack were so threatened that they later went on tv and gave interviews with both their names and faces visible.

and I believe that Patty Womack stated on HLN that (1) she had not received death threats and that (2) she did not testify because in the final analysis she just couldn't support what Arias had done.

Juan doesn't seem worried or intimidated. He has a good grasp and I suggest we trust him the whole way through.

I'll put this simply.
JA has done this. Either alone or with her investigator. If anyone has tampered with computer evidence, it was JA. I am sure of it.

I trust Juan Martinez and Det. Flores. IMO This is just another defense tactic to cause chaos and possibly taint the jury. Kiefer I generally just ignore, not somebody I consider to be credible or deserving of any attention, and I think IMO he enjoys/relishes the attention and controversy he creates with his drivel. Who knows what CMJA was up to while she was acting as her own attorney? I have no idea about her PI, but would love to know just how reliable/respectable he is.

Sorry if you thought I was angry with you JSR, not at all. I appreciate you're input, my vent is against the system, not you at all. This case is driving me to want to do something I don't ordinarily do ;)

Yeah, they are very hard to break. Good point.

I may be in the "memory fog" that JA talked about, but I could have sworn there was previous testimony about a broken CD. Maybe someone else remembers about it.

I may have gotten confused with the testimony she claimed about being able to read information off of a CD in Travis bedroom and she claimed Travis got all mad because the CD didnt work. Something to that effect.

I think you're right. JA testified to Travis getting upset and throwing it at the wall? Yeah, right.

I wondered what they were up to when she was representing herself again not to long ago. I was certain it was some kind of stunt. I thought she wanted access to people directly, without being monitored. Maybe so, and maybe it was lining this up too. When did they ask to take a second look at the computer? Who hired this new guy ;and who was directing him? I would love to know if he met with Jodi during the time she was her own lawyer.

I'm signing off for the night with this message to the defense team which includes those not up at the table area.
