Is anyone covering Beth Kara's on her FB page? I don't know how and don't use twitter or Facebook.
Curious, you can still read her facebook page, even if you don't have a FB account. Just click this link https://www.facebook.com/BethKarasInsession

Great question MeeBee. I don't have a clue. Never served on a jury. Just seems to me both could/would lie to meet their objectives.
That's a tough one. I feel she deserves the DP because of how she killed Travis. Three times over. Even if I set that aside and listen to the evidence that's presented, wouldn't I still feel she deserves the DP for the same reasons? I'm not sure there's ANYthing Jodi or her defense team could say that I would consider a reasonable explanation/mitigating circumstance. I'd be willing to listen but would I be sent home too?
Truthfully, I believe Travis is at peace. This spectacle of justice is for those left behind. The last conscious thoughts are horrific to imagine which I why I don't go there.
I have jury duty beginning Friday. All this trial following since I last served 4 years ago has made me cold toward the whole thing. I am not a fan and am not looking forward to it at all. The last case I was on was a hung jury simply because a good old redneck boy and his friend could not vote guilty simply because they did not like police. Plain and simple.
Does anyone posting here TRUTHFULLY believe they could be impartial? If it really came down to it and you were chosen for the jury?
Yes both sides can and probably will. But if you're asking me which side is more likely to be truthful I'm gonna say it's the pro-death side. They want to be honest because they want to a.)express their opinion to her face and b). Protect a verdict from themselves if they were caught lying.
A pro-life juror will want to lie and get on and save her. They don't care if the verdict is protected. Only one person has said that they don't believe JA deserves death. 1? Out of 400? While many have expressed their belief that she is deserving of the death penalty. That seems statistically impossible.
Not me. She is guilty and do not want her out in the world, but I could never impose the death penalty on someone. I think they would kick me out on principle :/

Now that is an idea!!!!! I can also tell them I am aware you cannot disclose other crimes a defendant has committed. I don't think they will want me and I sure don't want to be there. A friend of mine also goes that day and she has never served....she has said she intends to tell them straight up she is pro death penalty all the way, lol.Oh my that's a disgusting reason for voting not guilty. Maybe you could tell them you are jaded because of Jodi Arias trial and you can get out of it.![]()
@TrialDiariesJ: Her impressions of #jodiarias from media coverage are "not favorable" #jodiarias
If it's known that's she's a brutal killer with added circumstances that could be worthy of the death penalty, it doesn't exactly seem a surprise that anyone feels "not favorable" toward her. That's not the question here. Maybe the DT wants anyone struck for cause who can't raise their hand and say "I like her despite her being a cold-blooded murderer"?
But Travis didn't get to vote at all....CMJA had no problem giving him the death penalty!!
They'd have to. If you were honest you can't be on a death penalty case if you don't believe in the death penalty. It's not about principle. You have to be willing to apply the law.

The reason #JodiArias deserves public ridicule is not because she murdered but bec she looked straight into the camera and lied about it.
