O/T... no charges for Officer Wilson in Fergusion

Not being able to view the trial, and even having only a few tweets to read today, this was by far my favorite day of trial since it began in January, 2013. To see Juan take this defense apart lie by lie and destroy this lying witness's credibility while doing so was so very satisfying.

When Nurmi told the judge that this defense would be scrutinized for years, he didn't realize that it would be a self fulfilling prophecy and that Juan Martinez would make sure it happens. (Thank you Mr. Martinez!)

Jodi caused all of this. But I am happy tonight that she brought Kirk Nurmi, Jennifer Wilmott and Maria de la Rosa (and the liars tesifying for her) down with her.

Yes I am sure JA is pacing in her cell knowing the day is coming!

Can I sneak in one little "spoof" video here rather than in the "spoof" sticky thread?

The Universe owes us some justice. Arizona v. Arias would be a good opportunity. (Universe? Are you listening?)

What is this news about the COA? No COA in the afternoon they already decided?

Most 14-year-olds aren't growing pot on the roof or anywhere else, and most aren't exposed to it either- beach community or not. In my experience, college is when more people become aware of drugs, although there were "stoners" at my high school in the late '70's. Not trying to criticize you, just pointing out how abnormal and how much of a future criminal Jodi was at age 14. Already into drugs and possibly pushing them.

Must be a generational thing too then. I'd say well over 50% of the kids I knew at 14-15 were smoking pot. The funny thing is nobody smoked cigarettes or drank....

I lived in Berkeley in the late 60's but was just a wee kid. The pot smoking I can across in my early teens was 3,000 miles away, on the East Coast.

Wow! We knew Juan had this in the bag! He just steamrolled right over this witness! :juanettes: :juanettes
According to what I've read she's clearly bias and even said there was 31 boxes of documents. She just chose what SHE wanted to read/believe. Jodi was definitely bringing out the worse in Travis.

Is there anyone here who still believes that this Judge is doing a good job?
Yes I do. I think she is bending over backward to preserve this trial from successful appeals, and although she might not seem as "tough" as Judge Belvin Perry, look how that trial turned out! I don't think she likes Jodi or Team Nurmi in the least. Judge Ito allowed far worse garbage in the OJ trial.:twocents:

Preach.... We do need some justice somewhere.

Ehhh I think OJ and Jodi rank up at the same area IMO....both utter fiascos and circuses and showboating....one diff is Ito adored the spotlight which clouded his courtroom judgment. JSS is def not that way at least

I don't know her. Some judges basically don't interfere unless and until a lawyer objects--that might be her policy.

I'm wondering, as Juan is such the alpha male, perhaps the judge chooses to defer, and give him that control.

Someone (unclear who) asked the Ct App to look at the (unidentified) exhibits submitted (under seal) in the Oct 4, 2013 (secret) hearing regarding Nurmi's request for a change of venue. Those exhibits have now been filed with the Ct App, so they will have access to them during their conference tomorrow.

Here is JSS's order denying the change of venue FYI:

Juan is making a good point, I think, that since it was Jodi who kept bringing up the school girl thing, it may have been Travis who was fulfilling Jodi's fantasy with the 12-year-old comment. I never even thought of that.
Jodi is the one who likes to wear her hair in braided pigtails!

I have sympathy for Ryan Burns. How humiliated he must be feeling. I bet with Jodi's probable life-long appeals people like Ryan, Deanna, Lisa will never be freed from this mess.

If were me, I would have nightmares for the rest of my life. They need prayers.

Martinez displayed text from #JodiArias, referring to herself as schoolgirl. He says it was jodi who first introduced the idea of youth

#JuanMartinez is using vulgar texts from #JodiArias to show how jurors #TravisAlexander didn’t pressure her for sex #abc15.

She already said she faked it, remember she gleefully testified that she needs two hands?

Covering her ears, ugh what a joke.

I think it was AZLawyer who posted the secret witness must return for a cross since they were questioned on direct. Makes sense.

How will we know when the witness returns that they were the secret witness?
