If I was Nurmi, I'd rather lose a few points with this witness by having her admit JA did send some aggressive sexual texts instead of having her battle with the prosecutor when he makes a point. As a jury member, this sudden battling attitude and uniwillingness to even answer properly discredits her way more than having her admit JA was just as bad for the sex talk.
