I'd say getting your ribs kicked by someone and having your finger broken in the process is VERY noteworthy. Especially if it was true. However, JA hadn't thought of that lie far enough in advance to back date her journal entry to include it.

There was one on that Jan 22. She thanked him and offered to take him out for lunch.
