Yes, but I'm only trying to fathom where they're coming from. They have careers and lives outside of the trial, and I expect they apply their biases there as well. I don't think they would proffer these views in the trial if it was radically different from what they proffer outside of it.

$$$$$$$$$$$ is a motivator and if an attorney words a question a specific way, they can give what they believe is an honest answer to the question asked, as it is asked, in that specific context.

LAZY is word for why JA didn't get her GED...She presented herself to TA as a budding entrepreneur and than didn't do a damn thing--I think this also bugged the heck out of TA...He really had no respect for "do-nothings".

Yep. A snippet from TA's last blog entry May 18: "Now I obviously don’t like the stereotypical Gold digger. The phrase “Gold Digger” has come to mean in our society a man or a woman who marries for money, usually as an easy road to material gain with out any effort or productivity of their own. Another way to condescend to him, knowing he never says good morning like other attorneys do. It's like she's passive aggressively teaching him manners. She even interrupted him on the first day to say it.

"Ma'am did I ASK you if it was a good morning? Would it change your answer to my questions depending on whether or not you thought the prosecutor was having a good morning?"

I would love to compile a book of "weird" questions asked at trials. This one would probably be in a book of it's own. I'd just put in the questions, not the answers. It would make good bathroom reading for those of us into crime and punishment.
