By the judge. From now on, I come down hard on the judge. She has no excuses left.
LOL. I can't be too hard on the Judge, because I don't want her reversed on appeal. SHHHHH. JMO
By the judge. From now on, I come down hard on the judge. She has no excuses left.
for those of you concerned about the last expert's testimony, remember the State has an expert too and the difference between the two is glaring. Snark, rudeness and all around nasty may have seemd like a winner to the defense but we will see none of that with the State's expert. We will, however, see facts, details and no speculation.
It is if they are declared to be hostile witness for the prosecution. They were supposed to be defense witnesses. LOL
Everyone take a deep breath and find your center....breath in and out.-..
We must calm down and focus...there is bad juju within this trial...bad energy...
Don't focus on the poison that Nurmi and gang are spewing...they have all been
contaminated by the bad energy swhirling around. Even JSS.
Focus on Juan...he is the only one still clean...Send him strength and good energy to finish this!

Did Dr. google or researched case online.
She watched "The YouTube" for testimony but only based hr testimony on defense evidence #jodiarias
Sorry folks, but I do not blame the witness for her childish display on the stand. I blame the judge. Dr. F did what she knew she could get away with. Judge Stephens is in charge of her courtroom and should intervene when a witness acts up.
I feel like a fool now for having given the judge the benefit of the doubt for so long. I figured there was a method to her madness. I don't figure that anymore. Now I think it's just madness without method.
He can't be subpoenaed, but so what? Is he going to argue he can't testify because he fears for his life out there in the antipodes? But we know new Zealand dude can't be subpoenaed, that leaves two..who is the 3rd since it can't be marc McGee
What was telling me, and what I hoped did her in, was her pretending not understand what Juan was questioning her about when Nurmi had just questioned her about it literally 15 minutes earlier. Like the Deanna Reid interview. She throws out all confident that Deanna was inconsistent and says that Deanna said one thing and then another. But when Juan asks her about the exact same thing, she's all, what, who, when, I don't know which interview you're talking about, you're twisting my words...etc. It also was obvious she hadn't actually seen that interview but was just told what to say about it because when asked for specifics, she had nothing but deflection.
Jodi doesn't have a choice. If she testified on direct, she can be crossed on anything she said under oath.
At least, that's the way I understand it.
I was not paying attention, so forgive my not knowing, but did Jodi testify in THIS trial? If so, is SHE receiving a subpoena?
Lol, that brought a smile to me during this crazy day.He can't be subpoenaed, but so what? Is he going to argue he can't testify because he fears for his life out there in the antipodes?
Yes, JA is the one the Judge closed the public and press out of.
BBM--Good question!!!
And with them living in California, they came to Arizona for one day? I'd be upset too. There's time away from work, not to even mention the cost for traveling as well as lodging. Very Sad.
JA has been in charge of this trial for 3 years.
Who do you think will question DeMarte this time around?
But here's what I still just don't get. They HAD a mitigation defense - proper, if spun correctly, workable mitigation on a silver platter - no deception necessary. The only thing worse than loving or living with someone personality disordered is being the personality disordered individual. Jodi is - and they could easily have spun it so well - made her out to be a victim of circumstance through her affliction so very, very easily. I'm not even an attorney, or mental health professional, but I could seriously make a decent argument out of how hellish a disordered person's life can become (largely of their own making, mind youI just got it. The tie in. Jodi super secret testified to hidden abuse as a child, physical and/or sexual. Then the good um Dr lady gave us an earful of how Travis was keeping their sextopia secret/hidden/shameful. Then Jodi sees him (BS) with boychild(BS) and it somehow made her go to her hidden childhood bad spot so she had to kill him? this might make sense if there wasn't a time gap, and if it weren't all a buncha lies.. but as a defense theory, yes I can see this being the straw they grasp at.
only one problem. This portion is supposed to be about why her life is worth saving. she's already guilty.
He shouldn't have to ask for it. JSS should get this witness in line without any prompting.
