#JodiArias DrG point is to try to say was monogamous thru it all while Travis was an obsessed player wanted sex from multiple girls

I guess he missed that bit about Abe, or the married guy, or how she snagged Ryan.... oh wait, apparently only TA was supposed to stay "true" to JA after she had broken up with him... even though he was very open about looking for "wife" material, JA just didn't want him(she even said this in her journals) or to let him go.

JA's "Morbid Curiosity" Will Not Be Sated

I wonder what Michael Kiefer would write about this photo?

This is the first time I have ever heard of this "making babies" texts.

You mean when according to JA, they were talking(by text iirc) about if they ever had kids what they would look like? That's not exactly what I would call "pillow talk" between two people planning a future... more like idle chat between f*** buddies.

Has anyone else mentioned how cute & John Cusack-y the #JodiArias bailiff is? Circa Say Anything. We're at recess.

Geffner said when he met Jodi he really didn't have much of a history of case, witnesses that testified, the sex involved etc #jodiarias

Perhaps he should have done his homework and read up on the case a bit.

Myth: Abusers grow up in violent homes.

This is not true. Growing up in a violent home is a risk factor and some children who experience abuse do go on to be abusive in their relationships. But many do not. Instead they are repelled by violence because they have seen the damage it causes. They would not dream of hitting their partner.

Abusers learn to be violent from the society they grow up in. Inequality between the sexes means that men have more power than women – inevitably some of them abuse or exploit that power.

People who blame violence on their childhood experiences are avoiding taking responsibility for their actions. Violence is a choice an abuser makes.

There's an old story about two brothers: one was an alcoholic and the other was a teetotaler. When asked why they became the way they were, each had the same answer: My father was a drunk, what else would I be?

Geffner and 2 other Dr's were with him when he interviewed Jodi #jodiarias #3tvarias

#JodiArias swivels in chair w/fingers on face as Geff explains to Willmont how many times he met w/JA & topics discussed.

Well I'd like to see this photo. Is she coaching him?

There is NO way a jury is going to buy that being whacked with a spoon turned her into a vicious murderer. How absurd.

I think we should be prepared to hear some new accusations about the "abuse" the killer suffered. But she should know if she chooses to go down that road, JM will discredit her again. She has chosen poorly in every aspect thus far, and has yet to show remorse, the only factor that will save her, imo.

Now we are diagnosing the "FOG" #jodiarias #3tvarias

Jeffrey Evan Gold ‏@jeffgoldesq 2m2 minutes ago
#JodiArias acc to DrG "appeared to have a good memory except for two periods...the murder and childhood 12-14"

Jen's Trial Diaries ‏@TrialDiariesJ 1m1 minute ago
Jodi has flashbacks but not full memories. She has gaps from ages 12-14 years old. #jodiarias #3tvarias

Wild About Trial ‏@WildAboutTrial 2m2 minutes ago
#JodiArias told Geff she has a memory gap from ages 12-14. Her other memory gap is on the day of the murder.

Jen's Trial Diaries ‏@TrialDiariesJ 1m1 minute ago
She remembers a boy attacked her with a knife and she got her period. #jodiarias #3tvarias

I'd settle for just one question.

'Ms. Arias, what's happened to other victims of domestic violence that had the audacity to slash their abuser's tires?'

She's learned the lingo but her actions are in direct contradiction to being victimized herself.

I do remember Jodi saying she was attacked and was head at knife point when she was young. I wonder if he was a pot growing buddy of hers?

Wild About Trial ‏@WildAboutTrial 2m2 minutes ago
#JodiArias told Geff that she was attacked by a boy between the ages of 12-14 but no details.

Jeffrey Evan Gold ‏@jeffgoldesq 2m2 minutes ago
Will expert get #JodiArias jury to speculate about what happened when she "got her period... Age12-14 "

Jen's Trial Diaries ‏@TrialDiariesJ 2m2 minutes ago
In 4th grade Jodi says she "spaced out" and it's been like that ever since #jodiarias #3tvarias

Wild About Trial ‏@WildAboutTrial 2m2 minutes ago
#JodiArias looks on with crazy sad eyes.

Geffner says that fits with childhood trauma and disassociation and that showed on the testing #jodiarias #3tvarias

Wild About Trial ‏@WildAboutTrial 2m2 minutes ago
Geff said when there's a memory gap, it means something traumatic. #jodiarias

Zoey Watson ‏@ZoeyWatson2014 1m1 minute ago
@TrialDiariesJ Oh the inferences #JodiArias wants the jury to draw.

Is this memory gap thing new? I don't remember it from last time.

  • #700
No. Hopefully a caring parent loves, nurtures, and teaches their child to eventually become independent, in control, and confident of her choices.

Learned helplessness, as the name implies, is rather like a slow erosion - you doubt everything; you expect to at least be corrected by your abuser - or far worse; you walk on eggshells all the time; you're afraid to make a decision; you become dependent because it's easier to do what they want than be belittled or beaten for making your own choice - and heaven forbid, a mistake. You lack confidence; you become dependent; and you're definitely not in control of anything.

Ok, that goes to a far higher level than what I was referring to... I meant like when a little girl learns that Daddy will buy her whatever her lil heart desires just to keep her from crying....
