I think Geffner could have found better research studies to cite for human reactions and how they change over time with repeated traumautic events. (not the dog study)

I don't think this testimony will be a problem. It is the "vision" of the person that Jodi wants people to believe . . . .Juan will rip this to shreds with evidence already presented in this case.

At the heart of an abusive relationship is control. Abuse itself is about control - not anger - though anger is very often used to control. So, knowing that what do we say to Travis encouraging her to date others; helping her move to a new state; not distancing her from friends or loved ones (isolation allows abuse to propagate so Jodi knew what she was doing staying Travis' dirty little secret); not coercing people to stay away from her; not destroying her personal property; not snooping through her texts and emails; not learning her door code; not learning her passwords (because no way in hell do I believe they swapped them); not emotionally blackmailing her; not stalking her; not cyberstalking her; not threatening her if she left; not disabling her vehicle; not inhibiting her work or finances; and not being particularly passive-aggressive.

He is, by and far, the absolutely most ineffective 'abuser' I've ever encountered.

Why couldn't you be a licensed expert living in Arizona right now? I'm saddened at the reason you're so knowledgeable about abuse but you explain it all so clear. It's obvious that Travis was not abusive to JA. I hope JM manages to make this abundantly clear to this jury.

I wish this could be presented to the jury. But of course it won't. It's hilarious how Dr. Gefner can sit there and state that the tests don't show Jodi Arias as being manipulative, that show she's "eager to please" when her actual ACTIONS show how ballsy, assertive and manipulative she really is.

I wish JM could use the CoA's own words concerning JSS suspecting JA of being the "M" word.
