Retrial for Sentencing of Jodi Arias - Day 17

For those who don't know.....WAT tweets about what people are wearing, sounds, food, etc. It was the same for the trial. Some of us enjoy following them. If the tweets are bothersome to others, you can use the ignore feature or just scroll by. I do that with monicas tweets....and MK....there are lots of other tweets to read.

I don't mind people tweeting about what is worn....but if you think about it...a lot of what is worn can be very distracting to jurors, people testifying etc. I am talking about strange nail color, think about when a person 'talks' with their hands and you are trying to focus on what they are saying...all you see is purple moving in front of you or a low cut top...you try to look at the persons face as they talk to you, but the low cut top gets in the view too. There are a lot of other examples....and I do believe that this is used as a distraction...and this is MOO.

....speaking of ulcers earlier, I have an appointment with a Gastroenterologist this morning. Never occurred to me that this trial might be effecting me.

I agree, Amster. I appreciate all the tweets, even the ones that make me wonder if the person is watching the same trial as others! Sure Monica's and Kiefer's are less than my favorites, but especially from my vantage point stuck on the "recovery couch" for the next weeks, I love all the information, the more the better! (Of course, I also have a slight advantage that muscle relaxants prescribed put a lot of nervous tension at ease

I don't get this either. Geff is allowed to bring in the kitchen sink, but Juan can't question the people saying it? How is this fair?

More for Juan to refute, as the more DT continues to pile on killers delusional stories the deeper the hole they dig for themselves.

Why are they using interview notes of Matt. How can Juan cross Matt, so why is the defense using these notes. Am I missing something?

IIRC, Mr. Martinez did already interview Matt before the original trial way back when.

There's that passive/aggressive again. Does Dr. G not see that? Or is he not paid to see that!

From bk notes. MM wasn't the only one who thought she was bipolar. He actually looked up the definition and thought she needed therapy. JM cut that off.....

Sorry. Correcting and adding. MM supposedly actually called a therapist, as did others. Interviews of the others exist. JM hadn't seen them, asks who did interviews. The DT. Then JM objects.

I don't get this. EVERY murderer has a history with people they didn't kill. You could just as well surmise that Jodi got more and more angry with each time she got dumped, cheated on, choked, knife-waved, and that Travis just happened to be in the place, at the wrong time, busting up with her just like everyone else has. Which is pretty close to what I think happened. Maybe the jury will agree.

For the record, I do find it odd that everyone she knows tries to choke her...OR DO I?
