Better he not have to cram things in to an hour or so today. A nice clean slate in January to rip this apart. I don't think the jurors are going to ruin their holidays thinking about this chick and her sob story.

Men thinking: "WOW, that could have been me, but for the grace of God!!!".

Despite JSS' paranoia about successful appeals, if that's her issue, I can see the conviction being thrown out down the road, based on counsel erring in not presenting a mental illness defence in the guilt phase. The thought makes me feel sick.

I don't see it as a valid appeal issue. She has a personality disorder which is not considered mental illness and why it is called a 'disorder.'

The judicial standard for mentally insane/ill if far different than it is in the medical community.

The judicial standard is rather simple. Was the defendant able to know right from wrong at the time of the murder and can they assist their attorneys concerning the case against them? I don't think there is any question that both of those guidelines have been met in this case.

Millions of people unfortunately in our country have personality disorders. In fact many sent to prison or on death row have them.

She certainly is not mentally insane. She knew exactly what she was doing at all times and she was mentally capable of hiding the evidence she used in her murder against Travis. She is just a run of the mill psychopath who has BPD and reeks of narcissism. Cunning, manipulative, pathological liar, and one who will go to any depths they have to in order to get even with someone who has rejected them.

There isn't anything wrong with Arias' brain except she always sees herself as the victim which in truth she is the victimizer. Typical trait for a psychopath.

If this girl didn't secretly nock-a-few back when she was writing... well... I don't know what to say, but she doesn't sound sober to me.
