Do y'all remember another trial in which a defense witness testified during direct, but the cross exam was delayed while another defense witness testified? I can't remember that happening. It's also inconceivable to me that JA could have testified in secret, and there might never be a cross exam. It's like a bad sci-fi movie where the only real human in the courtroom is the prosecutor.

I was puzzled about this at first as well , but I think the explanation is that the hearing first thing this morning was, for some reason, going to be about the computer 🤬🤬🤬🤬, ie, the trial within the trial, which is separate from the main trial, and therefore has a different set of witnesses. So the actual flow of the main trial is not being derailed, it's just that the entire main trial is being derailed in order to deal with the trial within the trial. It's simple within its complexity.

Lol.

I keep seeing The Master being mentioned though. Who is that? What's that about?

Master = Meister in German, so probably Neumeister

He could have—and in retrospect, he certainly should have—but he was having a sexual relationship with her and probably wanted (at least that part of) it to continue. At that time he wasn't afraid of her. It's like a horror movie. :(

Or at least locked the doors! everything was unlocked..

I've been trying to determine whether it's a rumour or not. During one of the Porngate hearings, somebody tweeted that JSS was having (or should have?) a Special Master take up the issue on her behalf, as all the disc/clone talk was beyond her, and time consuming. I cannot find out if it was a suggestion or a statement of fact. Always thought it a good idea though.

AZ lawyer, if there was child 🤬🤬🤬🤬 on Travis computer it means Jodi put it there. My earlier post talks about jodi sneaking into TA home and accessing his computer. First came the fake pedo letters. That did not work. Im sure Jodi crawled through the dogs door more times than TA realized.

If JSS is choosing to ignore the CoA ruling then isn't that a sign of having a backbone and being stubborn, which is contradictory to your 4th point? It seems when JSS wants to, she will stick to her guns. For instance how many times has the DT asked for the DP to be removed from consideration? A dozen or more. Has JSS caved in? Nope.

JSS can't stop the defense team from "playing games." They have the legal right to introduce motions and they are doing so with wild abandon. The judge has to consider those motions, she can't just trash them and tell the defense no more.

As for the secret witness testimony, there's no reversible error for pissing off the media and spectators and keeping something hidden until the judge is ready to release it. It's not constitutional but then again do we actually know why (or is this more speculation?). I've been wondering if this delay is not so much because of JSS but because it simply takes a long time for the court reporter to complete the court transcript (I know a couple court reporters and it takes longer than you'd think to get it all scoped, proofed, formatted, double-checked, and ready for publishing). It's a very labor intensive process and I've seen it first hand.

Yes, JSS does have to consider all the motions the DT puts forth but how about being a little more fair in regards to that with the PT like the motion on 12/22/14 asking to interview BN 2 others who worked with him. He mentions that it is still before the court in his new motion to preclude today. I like so many others here have given JSS the benefit of the doubt for such a long time it just gets so very old to keep hearing how everything has to be done to prevent an issue for appeal. IMO it's all just a bunch of childish games and bs.

So if Sue D. Nimh is allowed to remain nameless, will the PT simply “accept” this person’s credentials without eliciting experience, background, etc. on the record during the hearing?

IDK, but it seems if this person’s qualifications are discussed at length, some smart folks on this forum will be able to figure out who it is.

Plus, I’m still mystified why an expert who has “bombshell” information in a highly publicized case would want his/her identity hidden. Flies in the face of marketing oneself. Flies in the face of proudly, with conviction, presenting compelling evidence.

I can think of two primary reasons: 1) This person is someone BN knows through BN’s work with DOD/government contracts and, because of that association (due to government agreements?), Sue D. Nimh needs to fly under the radar; 2) This person knows JM will rip him/her a new “rear end” due to faulty (or unreplicable) procedures.

Anyone up to suggesting other reasons Sue D. Nimh wants to remain “black ops?”

The context is typically civil as opposed to criminal justice.

Special Master Law & Legal Definition

A Special Master, in law, is an authority appointed by a judge to make sure that judicial orders are actually followed. They are employed in complex civil actions where their expertise is needed to assist the court. Special Masters can also be established by the congress to assist with the admistrative [sic] claims against the government. Special Masters are appointed pursuant to Rule 53 of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. Special Masters are compensated for their work. The rate of compensation is set by the court and the parties pay the costs. In US, cases involving Special Masters often involve situations where it has been shown that governmental entities are violating civil rights. Reference of a case to a master shall be the exception and not the rule.

The use of masters is "to aid judges in the performance of specific judicial duties, as they may arise in the progress of a cause, and not to displace the court." [La Buy v. Howes, 352 U.S. 249, 256 (U.S. 1957)].

So is anything happening tomorrow at all? Any hearings or anything?

  • #533
:seeya: Any ideas on who you think this "Psuedo" person is ?

TIA !

:) I'm lost when it comes to all this computer stuff and who looked at the computer/hard-drives ... but I try to keep up with it :)

I have no doubt in my mind that Mr. pseudonym is Jodi's PI. I don't dare mention his name because it is Top Secret.....DORIAN BOND If not him, then someone who does computer work for him. And you can mark my words on that. :giggle:

Links for more on DB, I will post tomorrow. This heifer is worn out, and going to bed!

Dorian Bond was on National TV not to long ago boasting that he was JA;s PI. Why would he hide now? Unless he has something to hide. It was said, up thread or on the sidebar Beth Karas saw the defense team walk out with a man she did not recognize. Could of been anyone...the pseudonym, or perhaps a decoy. It wasn't Bond because she would of recognized him.

Not sure what is happening tomorrow. Do I make a new thread, or not? If I do, what should I call it? :findinglink:

Everyone, take some aspirin - this may be another frustrating, teeth grinding day!!!!

Off to work!!!

Thanks for Elizabeth Montgomery!

Can't you just see Gladys Kravitz writing JA's whoremonger email?

They "might" have a status conference by phone tomorrow to see where we stand. In other words, no court until Monday. Which is what I jokingly said would happen on the weekend. I jinxed it.

Maybe it is Laurences previous client, who by way of being charged with child 🤬🤬🤬🤬 is now an expert on finding child 🤬🤬🤬🤬? I'm kidding, of course.

I doubt we need a thread tomorrow.

I agree with you that it is much easier for them, not being sequestered. But maybe that would have made the judge hurry this along a little.

But even though they are free to walk around, and 'kind of' go on as if they were not bound by the regulations of the current trial, they are in fact under certain restrictions. So there are some pressures and annoyances that will only be magnified with time. jmo

Please forgive me. When I read your posts immediately I thought "years from now 12 little men and women are walking out of chambers ~ long grey hair , beards , bifocals , false teeth , saying are you certain it is over?" . By now JA. is in a wheel chair , half blind ,(you know why) going to newly built Perryville still chanting ~~"they will never convict me of murder"..Final chapter. :laughcry: :hilarious: :whine: :jail:
