I think the people in her 'journal life' are much like Casey Anthonys fantasy friends. They are loosely based upon 'real people'----but what she says about them and the events she describes are all n her pointy head.

I just remembered what a great liar Casey Anthony is! Some things you just want to forget. Have to admit, Jodi is quite the liar but she can't hold a candle to Casey. You just have to watch as the court allows JA to get by with her lies. At least until JM is up!

I am catching up from last night so not sure if this was discussed by here is my two cents. I think Sue D. Nimh will turn out to be as much of an "expert" as BN is. I think Sue and the defense know this is a crock of you-know-what and doesn't want his name associated with it as such. As we have seen time and time again with this defense, their witnesses are a bunch of has beens, never weres, and losers. No one with any credibility whatsoever is associated with this defense which is very telling considering the bottomless pit of money from which it could pay someone credible.

Sorry if this is a repeat.

The only halfway decent "expert" they had was Dworkin, and they've all but said he's incompetent for not finding Pseudonym's 🤬🤬🤬🤬. But they filed a motion to use his incompetent testimony to get her guilty verdict dismissed.

Hey maybe we need to post this picture one a day or so.

On JM's motion to preclude Pseudonym.

So Nurmi deliberately stood by as JM deposed BN for 4 hours, knowing that the time taken for that could otherwise have been spent deposing Pseudonym. What Nurmi did was to make sure that Pseudonym couldn't testify yesterday or today. As he had decided before BN was deposed by JM, BN wasn't going to called yesterday or today either. Nurmi, in other words, planned ahead to ensure court was cancelled for both days, minimum.

Now JM is asking that Pseudonym's interview be undertaken a full week ahead of testifying, should JSS decline to preclude his testimony altogether.

JM needs the time or he wouldn't ask for it. But it looks more likely than not there's no court for this week.

Outstanding.

But look for JSS to give him a short period of time. He won't get a week. What Nurmi did is disgusting.

Nurmi's SC appeal re secret testimony is also fascinating. JSS granted JA the right to testify in secret because of her fragile mental state?? Wow.

Its Tuesday. No court on Fridays. And JSS hasn't even reviewed JM's motion to preclude. Come to think of it, I wouldn't be surprised if court is dark through mid next week.

That was surprising that JSS would agree to this? This case needed a qualified judge from the beginning. Juan has been fighting an uphill battle every step. The fact that he is brilliant and on top of it lessens my worries. That is unless JSS allows (or causes) a mistrial.

Yes, something is seriously wrong with this Judge. It is as if she is doing all she can to make sure a mistrial is the end result. But why?

:seeya:

Nurmi should be sanctioned and held in contempt for what he did, but it ain't gonna happen.

JSS is probably going to give Nurmi and the defense as much time as they need:

You need a week, fine ... you need a month, no problem ... you need a year, sure, take all the time you want ... oh, just let me know when YOU are ready to proceed !

:gaah: And that ^^^ is how it works in JSS's courtroom for the defense only !

:moo:

Lamb chop, I am up late. Couldn't sleep (but not due to the trial). Anyway, just popping in. I vote for "Pseudo Trial...Day 20"

Could it get any weirder?

"Pseudo Trial" .... that's perfect!

Here's my suggestion as a title for the new thread: Groundhog Day, 'cos it sure feels like it. :gaah:

Don't laugh. As soon as the AZ SC slaps Laurence and JSS down, I fully expect he'll demand she hold everything until October so he can get a chance to get the US SC to repair the incorrect state-level COA and SC rulings. Maybe we'll be done by Dec 18th after all, but in 2015.

Aka...Pseudonym. Called that by Juan Martinez. No name given yet.
Sue D. Nimh came from AZL. :)

We should use the full maiden name instead of just the initial: Sue Doe Nimh.

You're quite the optimist this AM, aren't you? :loveyou: I think we should have a pool going whereby we all pick a date we think this trial will end.

I LOLed so much the dog ran away. Thanks for that!

The new thread can be called any of the above excellent names but would like Phil Collins song Sussudio to be playing in the background of the introductory post. That's my only suggestion...fwiw

BBM: :shush: I have an idea, but it's super secret ... :hilarious:

Seriously, I have thought of a few possibilities as to why JSS is giving the defense everything they want on a silver platter ... NO proof, so it would be pure speculation.

JMO but this is NOT about appeals any more, and it is NOT about the judge dotting her I's and crossing her T's. It has gone beyond that !

- It makes NO sense to close a courtroom -- especially for a murderer found Guilty of 1st Degree Pre-Meditated Murder to have a private audience.

- It makes NO sense NOT to sanction the defense for repeated delays and repeated shenanigans.

- JSS has NO compassion for the jurors' time and jobs, etc.

- JSS has absolutely ZERO compassion for the Alexander Family.

It's obvious, IMO.

Hey everyone, Good morning :-) I'm very happy to know I am not the only one who is confused! I was getting a little worried there for awhile LOL

:seeya: Hi bsk, no I won't laugh, but I laugh every time I see that wooden spoon ... lol !

BBM: I think the U.S. Supreme Court would laugh his butt out of D.C., and all the way back to Arizona !

Nurmi is really dreaming IF he think the U.S.S.C. would listen to his carp !
