That's a great question, one I've often thought about. If the jury doesn't do DP, how long do we wait for the judge to sentence her? Weeks, months?

Usually a month or two.

So my question then, is why did she wait?

Who knows? Not we, the lowly public, anyway. Maybe if we're lucky the hearing tomorrow regarding the media's motion to (finally) release the transcript will be at least Tweetable and we will be allowed to know something.

After reading the article on Facebook's Juan Martinez concerning TA computer etc. I asked the IT person at the school I volunteer, some questions. This article was spot on. Also, when I asked him about the incinerator he looks at me and says that does not make any since unless it was by accident and of course on purpose which was done when the law was at your door.. why erase? The defense would not incinerate the , so my guess it is something TA wrote....Another thing we talked about was the in itself and his thought that that would be a big mistake for the defense anyway, unless it was child , because who cares.....I am sure there is at least one male on the jury who has looked at . He also said that once you have malware or a trojan on the computer you never get rid of it, it is always there unless you totally set fire to the hard drive. It literally cost thousands of dollars to erase any malware completely from the computer. I am betting the CD incident where TA suppose to slam it to the wall probably happened because this IT person said that is another thing that happened during that time, Was the sharing of CD's with the malware embedded onto the CD. My bet is CMJA knew that CD had this Malware on it and that was why TA was pissed.

I don't see any way forward where the especially cruel lying torture murderess is sentenced prior to Summer of 2015.

And I'm serious as well.

I don't think we're anywhere near the end of LKN/JW/JA motions.

In fact, I believe counsel is billing the State for the time it takes to sit around and make them up.

I think this re-trial started out with JSKS feeling guilty about making LKN stay on the case, so she was secretly pulling for him.

But over time I believe she began to tire of JM while simultaneously developing personal feelings for JA.

And now she's overtly pulling for the murderess.

How do we know that in the all-too-frequent sidebars and private discussions in chambers, JSKS isn't suggesting (or at least strongly hinting at) additional motions which could be filed and/or rulings appealed?

I agree with most of what you have said. But I do have one question. If JSS is secretly pulling for JA, why is she so worried about preventing an issues for appeal. Wouldnt she want the appeals to be successful?

I chose D-Day, June 6th as the end date. It's also my birthday and close to when the murder occurred. I DO hope it's a lot sooner though.

JSKS controls everything, and I do mean everything, in her courtroom.

Just one example: Remember when she wouldn't let the Alexander siblings wear ribbons to honor their murdered brother, but she later allowed the Arias crowd to wear theirs?

Nothing happens without her tolerance and/or imprimatur.

Why should she risk leaving her favorite killer's future to an uncertain appeal outcome where she will have ZERO control and influence unless the case is remanded to her court?

In short, JSKS and JA don't want this going to appeal until they first mitigate her punishment. It can only get better -- not worse -- after that.

No, she needs to allow in all the tripe that JA can trump up so as to convince the jury that TA was a violent abuser, an especially cruel predatory pedophile who sadly -- because he wouldn't read and obey the mall pamphlets -- had to be 'neutralized' in order to render the world safe once again for children whose paper will e'er sail off the bed, falling in that chaotic pattern that paper doth fall -- doth it not? -- as it hastens helter-skelter, to and fro on its meandering way, drawn, as it were, by that glorious, inexorable gravitational force prevailing upon it, indirectly directing it to that certain plane wheree'er it shall meet terra firma... blah, blah, blah.

I don't believe that at all. Because sidebars and stuff will be released in the future (as the original trial sidebar transcript were last year) and if it turns out that's what she did, I very much doubt she would be allowed even judging karoake competitions at her local bar.

There's no one but Maricopa County voters to hold her accountable, and they last retained her on November 6, 2012.

Her term doesn't expire until 2016.
