Judge promises a full day on Tuesday. We are in recess!!:gaah:

Try as they might, it is going to be impossible for this jury to feel neutral toward Willmott. She is a rude b**** and that will influence how receptive they are to her.
I hope you're right.

How many weeks did we waste with this "possible child 🤬🤬🤬🤬" motion?

  • #1,066
Obviously it wasn't Travis who downloaded and deleted 🤬🤬🤬🤬 in 2009, so I suppose the point must be that it was Flores and that, in the process of messing with the computer, random files were necessarily overwritten that almost certainly had nothing to do with the case

That's what I'm thinking.

BBM

The problem is, the anon guy claims it happened @ 11 pm. And the evidence room was closed by then. And if it was actually earlier in the day, then that was when the DT had it. So none of this makes any sense.

I'm assuming the Emmy JW wins would be for best performance in a comedy. Anybody who can get out that comment with a straight face about the trial having gone on long enough deserves it.

Must have been some sort of Freudian slip. Ballsy...just like her client.

And no rulings on motions that were supposed to be done Monday? Insert eye roll.

WIllmott notes Jodi wasn't near Az on June 1st when a "you 🤬🤬🤬🤬" link was accessed

Flores is saying this is minor and prior counsel testified they had the evidence that day so there isn't a dispute
On June first? FGS...they were saying the 19th!!! Make up your minds.

But...but...but..the ruling on the motion? What could she have possibly heard in today's defensorial pile of confusedness that could change her mind?

Or... did she simply decide not to decide to keep the public sitting on thumbtacks?

Judge tells jury this trial will go into Feb and if any conflicts please notify court.:tantrum:

with a severely annoying whiny voice. I have a hard time looking at her but an even harder time listening to her being a lawyer. It's a toss up who I can't stand the most lol. Nurmi has to lead his witnesses to the answer he is going for and Jen just doesn't know what they are going to say so she just looks baffled and I imagine her stomping up to the bench each time she screams "can we approach?"

Well, evidently, she isn't taking DP off the table or hasn't ruled yet?

  • #1,075
Yes. June 1 someone looked at something called you 🤬🤬🤬🤬.

June 19th at 11pm, either 1 or 3 USB drives plugged into the laptop in the evidence room, downloaded 🤬🤬🤬🤬 and then deleted it.

All according to sue.

I believe the June 19 date is one year later; i.e., 2009.

But who really knows anymore?

I take it this is JSS way of letting everyone know that she is not dismissing the death penalty? What a coward. She should be proudly denying the motion in open court so that it is clear that the people who were being accused (so egregiously by this 🤬🤬🤬 defendant and her council of minions) did nothing untoward.

Sorry, but Sherry's promises fall on deaf ears at this point.

  • #1,078
Guys the fact that she says we're going into Feb should be a clear indicator she is denying the motions.

  • #1,079
All I can say is that given what happened today, this trial morphed from the theatre of the absurd to the utterly Macabre. No JSS is not completely responsible for this chaotic, joke of a re-trial but she has played a significant part in the absolute mockery of the way truth and justice have been handled in this courtroom--and it is inexcusable imo.

My heart truly breaks for Travis Alexanders family today. There are simply no words...

So if Stephens tells the jury to expect to be here in February, that pretty much tells us what her ruling will be on the motion to dismiss.

I agree with him on this!
