And another thing!!

Travis Alexander sure spent a whole lot of his time flirting and having sex with grown women. 77 pages of texts! 77 pages! Blonde women, Swedish women, plenty of women. All these evidence of his horny ways when it came to women... The dog...

But hey, whatever happened to him being a pedophile?

MANY of Travis' friends have a lot to say should Juan Martinez want to have them Mike Bertott , for example can expose that Jodi Arias lied and lied and lied about Travis wanting her to move to Mesa. HE HEARD TRAVIS YELLING AT HER NOT TO. http://youtu.be/0PN1ycQJy4o And this is just one of a hundred examples

All her defense has managed to do so far today is paint Travis as a womanizer. What is VERY CLEAR is that he was not into little boys. Travis liked sex, just like normal men do....WITH WOMEN.

It is just the oddest thing I have ever seen. The defense doesn't seem to even do a mock cross examination to prepare them for the inevitable comebacks Juan will have on each subject they raise. They have had nearly seven years to prepare. One would think they would have moved past these simple ideas, but they seem to have learned absolutely nothing, whatsoever from the first trial. This man is going to be limping off the stage when Juan gets through with him.

I really would like to know who if anyone actually give a "Flying 🤬🤬🤬*" about any of this testimony. Personally there is WAY to much personal info being put out.
Who cares who shaves their parts and who doesn't and what does it have to do with anything??? She is guilty as sin.. Lets get this over with already... or at least get the show on the road...

This is the show she threatened to put on. In 2011 she wanted a plea deal for second degree murder. Nurmi's memorandum points out that if JA was not allowed this deal, the trial would be long and would cause the Alexander family even more pain.

http://www.hlntv.com/video/2013/01/29/documents-jodi-arias-tried-plead-guilty-second-degree-murder

The document describes some of the evidence the defense planned to introduce at trial, much of it dealing with the nature of Arias and Alexander’s relationship. The defense claimed expert witnesses would testify about the “extremely demeaning, degrading, and abusive behavior” Alexander exhibited toward Arias.

According to the memorandum, Alexander’s texts, emails and voicemails will “paint a tawdry picture not of a choir boy steadfastly practicing his faith, but of a playboy expert manipulator and sexual deviant.”

OMG!!! What an abusive monster!! He thinks she's a better person than himself!!

And I thought Dr. Drinking Problem said exploiters subordinate others relative to themselves.

I hope the nonstop note-taking juror got this.

Talk is cheap. Anyone can say anything. Did he really follow through with these texts? probably not.

im with you kensie. im not buying it either, at least not hook, line, and sinker. first, why would he talk like he is with someone who is either friends with ja or even just knows her? and why would he say what an amazing person she was and a better person than he was? and here we are getting towards the end of the defense and all this comes in - uh huh - just like all the supposed child 🤬🤬🤬🤬. nope, im not buying it! something is just a little bit fishy.

VERY good point. And I bet at least one juror will have noticed that.

I'm a little younger than Arias. I'm religious/spiritual. I'm conservative/strict when it comes to sex. I probably frown on what most people deem normal. And yet...

I'm completely unfazed by Travis' sexual interests/urges. WHO CARES? He was a normal, young man.

What bothers me very much is the fact that this woman who used sex and religion to trap Travis butchered him to death and is now trying to butcher his reputation in this penalty phase. FAIL. If I were on this jury then I'd vote for death without any hesitation whatsoever.

All these texts, if he had a pattern of being abusive to Jodi Arias how come all we've seen so far is that one text exchange? The defense team had enough time to find one in which he says he shaves his pubic hair so I don't doubt that they looked.

All these texts.. And not one abusive exchange.

Imo, she used sex as a tool for entrapment just like countless other women have done forever. That is all she had to offer TA. She wasn't successful in a career and seemed to mooch off of other men in her life as well There is a pattern of abuse by JA. This is not the only male she wouldn't let go that didn't want anything else to do with her.

She fits the profile of an obsessed stalker turned murderer. I have had one and came close to losing my life, and I know how much a stalker is feared. Travis had made it known that he did fear her and her stalking behavior and his fears came true. Once he told her to leave him alone for good.. instead of heeding his wishes she travels a thousand miles, with gun and knife... to murder the man that made it clear to her he finally knew she was a psychopath and the worst thing that had ever happened to him.

This is not even about loving Travis. She wanted to own/control him and to completely consume his life and his lifestyle. Psychopaths cannot feel what true love is. Their main goal is to get what they want and they have no boundaries. They see themselves as entitled whether the victim wants a relationship or not. And if that doesn't happen, and the victim dares to remove them from their life... like the cancer they are.... then the psychopath will do everything in their power to make the victim pay dearly.

She knew she was trying to trap him by offering him kinky sex and when that no longer worked she murdered him.

Arias is a hideous diabolical stalker and an obsessive narcissistic psychopath who couldn't take 'no' for an answer. I hope the jury gives her death as that is the only right and just punishment in this case, IMO

Exactly, ie. do you see TA on this?

JA's "dreamboard".

Question: I'm thinking = If these are private text messages how would that have affected Jodi since she did not know about them?
Excellent question! If a juror doesn't ask, I'm sure Juan will. :happydance:

Friends, someone mentioned the other day an app they found that will read tweets aloud to you so you can listen while you drive or whatever. Can you post that for me? That sounds like the best thing since sliced bread!

You tramp. Not me, I'm pure as the driven snow. Giggle, snort, cough. I barely typed that with a straight face.

I mean come on! The only thing that makes Travis different than any other young man was he was Mormon. I don't expect he was walking into church and proclaiming he was being sexual, I don't expect that from any religious person who transgresses. This was between Travis and his God and it was up to him to do what he pleased. He confessed, he tried. Sex is human nature though. I don't judge him for it. I just. The only thing it made him was a bit of a hypocrite. And he could be that. But aren't we all.

The only person I've heard of him actually cheating on was Lisa Andrews. Yet she still talks highly of him and they remained good friend until the end of his life.

We know based on what the Hughes' said based on the texts and journals they read of Travis that Travis was trying to change and be better. But she made it so difficult because she would always just be there. She'd sneak into his bed naked and then make up excuses. She would not respect the boundaries he tried to set.

And the arguemnt that he must have given her a reason to think she could stay with him and he'd "change" just doesn't hold water. We have seen nothing to that effect. If Travis was promising Jodi the world that'd be one thing. But either I missed those messages or they werebt there. Jodi specifically said Travis told her she should date other guys and look for someone else. She knew this. So then the argument became she must have thought if she could just do this or that that Jodi could win him for herself. That's pretty manipulative and that is not Travis' fault. Yes, he cared for her. But he wasn't the girl for him. Jodi had a choice to accept that or keep pushing, keep manipulating. She chose to push it until she couldn't anymore and because she knew she could.

None of this is any excuse, I'm sorry. Nor is it a mitigator.

after catching up on this "morning's" reading, I am left with a thought: Ms Arias is sitting right there, jury watching her as she listens to / reads his texts saying she was moving soon and how glad he was. The jury is sitting right there watching and if I were one of them I'd be looking at her and thinking "what part of he didn't want to be with you didn't you get?". I do not see how this is helping. It is showing that Mr Alexander was moving on, he was just not that into her and she knew it. As a juror it would make me think her less victim and more murderer.

Was there ever any explanation of what actually happened to Jodi's computer?

It was working for some point in time and she said she double checked to make sure the cd with pics of their trips would work in his computer on the day she killed him, so I assume she used her computer to make the cd. Did she destroy her computer after she killed him?
