I don't know. Remember when AzLawyer said we were going to love the evidence rules this time around? Yeah. I'm starting to think she lied.
why why why are these texts relevant?????
They desperately want the jury, or one juror, to think Travis wasn't faithful, lied, manipulated the virgin Jodi, and she was so abused by these text messages that she didn't or shouldn't have known about, she was justified in preplanning his murder, driving 1000 hours to do so, stabbing him 29 times and shooting him once. What's a girl gonna do? (sorry for the run on sentence  )
I think she AZL meant that in a ha-ha funny way. She has stated on several occasions that during this phase, hear-say is allowed and that the rules of evidence are much more relaxed; that's basically what we've been seeing since the start of this phase.
I am so sick of hearing about Travis's sex life, text messages, emails, and his personal life. Please tell me, why JA's life should be spared. I wonder if the jury is thinking the same thing? Betcha they are.
And another thing!!
Travis Alexander sure spent a whole lot of his time flirting and having sex with grown women. 77 pages of texts! 77 pages! Blonde women, Swedish women, plenty of women. All these evidence of his horny ways when it came to women... The dog...
But hey, whatever happened to him being a pedophile?
Maybe we will like the rules when it's JM turn at bat.
I'm watching the Seinfeld episode where George wants to do the opposite of what comes naturally to him. "If every instinct is wrong then the opposite would have to be right." :hilarious: Arias should try it!
Imo, she used sex as a tool for entrapment just like countless other women have done forever. That is all she had to offer TA. She wasn't successful in a career and seemed to mooch off of other men in her life as well There is a pattern of abuse by JA. This is not the only male she wouldn't let go that didn't want anything else to do with her.
She fits the profile of an obsessed stalker turned murderer. I have had one and came close to losing my life, and I know how much a stalker is feared. Travis had made it known that he did fear her and her stalking behavior and his fears came true. Once he told her to leave him alone for good.. instead of heeding his wishes she travels a thousand miles, with gun and knife... to murder the man that made it clear to her he finally knew she was a psychopath and the worst thing that had ever happened to him.
This is not even about loving Travis. She wanted to own/control him and to completely consume his life and his lifestyle. Psychopaths cannot feel what true love is. Their main goal is to get what they want and they have no boundaries. They see themselves as entitled whether the victim wants a relationship or not. And if that doesn't happen, and the victim dares to remove them from their life... like the cancer they are.... then the psychopath will do everything in their power to make the victim pay dearly.
She knew she was trying to trap him by offering him kinky sex and when that no longer worked she murdered him.
Arias is a hideous diabolical stalker and an obsessive narcissistic psychopath who couldn't take 'no' for an answer. I hope the jury gives her death as that is the only right and just punishment in this case, IMO
I understand but does Kirk and Jenny really think that the jury is a bunch of idiots?? I would be insulted if on that on that jury,
So that is what was on the killer's note to the mitigation specialist today. :facepalm:Jodi Arias Updates @JodiAnnArias
