I don't know for sure yet. My dad was an attorney and he would say " Oh &*^$" after accidentally on purpose letting something slip in front of the jury. If he really wanted the jury to know something, sometimes that was the only way.

I dont think this was for the benefit of the jury. But i do think he wants to be able to battle with Nurmi over the issue of this particular witness remaining anonymous. Not quite fair considering he is online publicly announcing his part in the trial as a witness. So if Juan slips and says his name, and Nurmi makes a motion, they get to argue the merits again.

BBM. That's what I think. Juan is no dummy. He's not making mistakes. This was calculated payback.

Juan confirms that Geff has not interviewed Reid but knows that Reid said she was on a mission at the time of alleged incident.

So wait....Geff admits he didn't talk to Deanna, and then says he is aware she was on a mission at the time of the incident.

Why then opine about how he " this shows a pattern of escalation', when clearly it didn't happen!!

The only conclusion I can come to is "stupid is as stupid does."

So Witness #1 for Jodi was attempting to be a good character witness for her saying he had seen Travis be abusive to a woman (during a time she was out of the country) while he was waiting to get married. He looked for his wedding photos on the comunal computer of the Bishop (that hadn't happened for 2 more months) - dates verified by his wife's diaries. During which child just popped up (in that oh so chaotic way it usually does) and he viewed it enough to describe sex acts with children in detail. He opened a folder assigned to Travis that had his AOL account on it so it had to be Travis. He wasn't truthful with the Bishop because he was about to get married in the temple with his mail order bride.

I think I got it.
