Sigh. I am so glad the court spanked him. He's as bad as his 'patient' - who the hell is he to dictate the law, or ethical procedures, to anyone? (To be fair though, he certainly has been allowed to dictate copyright law not applicable in this court. Sigh again.)

As per BK: " The federal statute deals with alcohol and drug treatment."

Geffner was surprised to hear this. This guy has to come off the stand. All I can picture is sinking mud.

RG wanted DeMarte to sign a confidentiality agreement which she did not sign. The court didn't require her to be licensed by AZ that was a requirement by RG. WOW! This guy is really impressed with himself.

Too bad Jenny didn't object on the basis of relevance. That would have been a great way to reemphasize that zinger for the jury.

Even so, I wonder if a couple of jurors stole a glance in the direction of Sam and Tanisha when this was mentioned.

Lol. Wait I just read the part you bolded. So Nurmi or Wilmott used the wrong thing (that only applies to drugs and alocohol) to say that Dr. G didn't have to show the tests to Dr. DeMarte? :laughing:

I'm expecting a lot of objections from defense every time DeMarte talks about a test. They'll say it's privileged or breaking the copywrite laws.

Ok. So he had to verify her worthy of his raw data. Why didn't he give it to her once he learned she was kosher? We know Demarte is licensed. So why did he still have to be ordered to turn it over? And what was the DT's justification for this little game of keep away?

Obviously stall tactics.

He himself has had courtroom experience with unethical behavior so I wonder if some of it was due to him being reprimanded to ensure to follow all the rules. At first he may have been just ensuring she was properly liscensed but then it seems like stall tactics were done on purpose.

These hired guns at trials are a disgrace and it makes me feel very sorry for all the convicts who have been prosecuted by such tactics. I even feel sorry for some guilty people if certain prosecuters would use these shady tactics.

It is just plain wrong if they stretch the truth and in some cases openly lie. A person should be convicted or set free based solely on accurate evidence and not generated shady evidence for $$$$. What a crock.

It is depressing to think of how many people have had more lengthy sentences or even incorrect verdicts for such tactics. Neither side should be able to do this and it is just plain wrong.

If the evidence is accurate then fine. But that is not what the DT is portraying in this case.
