This was said in the context of a complete interview.

As you might imagine, it was quoted incompletely and out of context.

Are you ever surprised by which cases catch the public's attention?

There are times when it is surprising, because there's never a review of the cases to try to figure out what's going to grab someone's attention.

A moment stands out from the Jodi Arias trial: all the people who gathered in front of the courthouse for the reading of the verdict, and how they cheered when it came back guilty. That was sickening. This isn't done for sport or entertainment. The reason our trials are public is to maintain confidence.

The only other case that really has surprised me recently is the Gilbert dog case. The degree of intense interest and people following it has rivaled the Arias case.

Although it would seem at first glance that Montgomery was commenting on the Arias trial, he clearly can't be as the especially cruel lying torture murderess's trial is the most secretive and non-public trial in recent history.

If Arias hadn't inserted herself into 48 hours Mystery and Inside Edition, half of us wouldn't even know who Jodi even was. SHE brought the Media in, no one else but her.

PS Maybe you all should NOT allow inmates do MEDIA interviews.
There was one was done in Arizona and one in California (Inside edition)

Yes it seems like it was an honest mistake on the Bishops part. How many people answer a question with crystal clear details? Nobody---unless you know your answer will be presented at the trial of the century!!

And like bishop said, it was 13 years ago. Loved his dig at Nurmi "didn't realize this was so important". Again, we are talking about a pop up ad, not a folder full of kid , of 1 scantily clad woman.

So MM, when he was hanging around the supporter page, realized that maybe TA had been living at the house when he reported these popups to the Bishop and he emailed the Bishop to find out before starting his lies about TA? The Bishop erred because he seems a little confused (early dementia?) and told him that TA did live there around the time the fiancé was there. He thought nothing of this email or question so he did not verify the exact dates. It was the same year though. The Bishop was also rather vague about things when he talked to Nurmi. He was never called on in the first trial so that was the end of it as far as he knew.

Until now. And suddenly it became important to get the information exactly correct. He screwed up with the date Jake lived there and when the "pop ups" may have first appeared on the computer. Big mistake IMO. Unless Jake did live there between Travis and the fiancé because he was having trouble with the wife.

I hope JM clears this up.

I find this absolutely an offensive comment. Ageism is alive and kicking, IMO. Like the rest of us don't have faulty memories especially from years ago? Sheesh. Perhaps he wasn't thorough enough- now that's a fair critique.

DP says that it would be serious enough to have to talk to the Bishop to determine if steps were necessary. What if the same person also mentioned the sound of a 12-year-old girl's orgasm?
