It really appears now, in retrospect, that Deanna was someone Jodi always wanted to destroy. I think you are absolutely correct.

Remember Jodi's pyramid? Deanna then Travis then Jodi. Jodi was going to flip it and destroy the two at the top.

Wit #1 in the email asks the Bishop "who was the guy living down the hall from me?"
Parker told Wit #1 it was Travis Alexander #jodiarias

Why would Marc McGee even have to ask that question? He swore in his affidavit that he not only knew TA but was his confidant... and that he not only was his friend and confidant but that he and his future wife helped TA out by taking care of DR who he also claimed to know, after TA allegedly assaulted her in front of them....

Talk about fishing... no wonder he's such a big JA fan.

AZlaywer, on either side of the court room, when there are two or more lawyers, who or how is it determined who will ask what witness questions, provide evidence or give the opening or closing 'speech' ? (I know speech is not the correct word, sorry.)

Excellent point! I hope the jury picks up on this and sees his "testiphony via affidavit" for what it's worth-absolutely nothing.

This is like a sequel to a Richard Brooks-directed movie starring Diane Keaton -- "Looking for Mr. Sidebar".

There are far more interruptions than proceedings.

Seriously, how does JSKS expect the jury to tolerate it?

Is she just astoundingly indifferent to everyone but herself?

I'll understand if fear of potential repercussion renders it 'difficult' (read unwise) to respond.

The sidebars are out of control IMO. My best guess would have been that JSS doesn't want to take the chance of anything being said in front of the jury that could cause a mistrial. But since she holds sidebars even when the jury is not in the room, that's obviously not the only reason.
