Steve Flores describes his training and experience as a homicide detective. #JodiArias

I don't think it's really that important. But I don't think your comparisons are apt. It's one thing to take another's work and use it while still giving credit to them. If you traced and colored in the Mona Lisa we'd know it wasn't your work.

It's another to copy another's work and pass it off as your own. That's the definition of plagiarism. Is it a big deal in the grand scheme? Not in the slightest. It's just another Jodi thing. And there's obvious talent there. But it's still worth pointing out. She even presenting some of he's at trial. Maybe she should put up something that came from her own mind and not something she copied.

You're right it's not that important. I'm in the minority of those who happen to think she is talented, artistically, or at least showed some promising talent in that area.

To me it makes it even worse that she (basically) threw away a talent she could have grown and actually been able to make some kind of living with it in a variety of ways, becoming a functioning, self-supporting member of society, to instead go on a mission to kill a young man 3 times over. I would personally love to have artistic drawing talent, sadly I have none.

So, even though she is an evil, murdering, sociopath, I'm not going to deny that she does also happen to have artistic talent that could have been nurtured. That's not a mitigating factor to save her life, nor am I saying it is or should be.

I can't see what mitigating information can be obtained by questioning Flores, with the exception of asking him if Arias appeared deranged during his interviews. Nurmi should have let in the tapes of her singing, laughing and head-standing if he wants to go that route.

@ericksonvision: He's now a Public Information Officer. "@ericksonvision: Nurmi is questioning Mesa PD detective Esteban Flores." #JodiArias

Nurmi hands exhibit 280 to Flores to review. He has a bevy of questions to ask Flores based on his testimony from a hearing #JodiArias

from reading the bio's (sort of, anyway) of the jurors - I don't think they will have problems agreeing that she murdered him in a excessively cruel manner and agreeing to a sentence - whichever it may be.

But I call BS on the "kindergartner teacher in her mid 30's who barely knows how to use the internet - PLEASE!

If Azlawyer peeps in...please tell us why they are going back through all the evidence of the guilt phase. I thought jury had to accept guilt. I do like the way JM is nailing it all down but yesterday with Wilmott endlessly debating with the ME just made me sick. Seems we would be farther down the road by now.

William Pitts @william_pitts · 50s 51 seconds ago

Nurmi's going after Flores on a convo he testified he had with ME Dr. Horn. Horn said he didn't remember it. Flores does.

Reminds me of something the judge told Ted Bundy as he was sentencing him to death:

"You’re a bright young man. You would have made a good lawyer and I would have loved to have you practice in front of me, but you went another way, partner. Take care of yourself..."

It really is such a shame, the outright waste of a human being being a psyhcopath is.

Horn repeatedly denies talking to Horn about the Travis Alexander autopsy. In 2009 hearing, Martinez questioned Flores on stand. I was there

@TrialDiariesJ: Which injuries came first to Travis Alexander?...Detective Flores told Juan Martinez the gunshot came first..#jodiarias #3TVArias

This is Where there is no logic. Why keep trying to say shot came first? Guilt phase is over.

Michael Kiefer @michaelbkiefer · 5s 5 seconds ago

Flores testified in 2009 that gunshot came first while answering questions from Martinez. Nurmi reads more from transcript.
