DeMarte gave #jodiarias a test to evaluate personality traits.

And that's the 'win', isn't it? Not death over LWOP, but that he is vindicated and she is revealed.

I think they'd like that DP too, but will take this, happily.

If they had the electric chair and they needed me to run on a treadmill to keep it sparked I'd usain bolt on it until justice was served.

I don't know. I'm probably alone in this... But this testimony is humanizing her for me. Basically from an empty shell full of evil to someone with actual feelings. I don't know how to explain it. Maybe I'm tired.
If she were not a murderer, and so completely unwilling to accept her responsibility, and just plain manipulative, I could feel a whole lot more sympathy for her.

There are people out there who are dangerous. A rattlesnake can't help but to behave like a rattlesnake. You can't get upset with it that it doesn't behave like a kitten. But when one of those human snakes kills someone, my sympathy and understanding runs out.

I don't think it will sway anyone....this proves she was a crazy a$$ed stalker who had no regard for the damage she inflicted when inserted herself into people's lives. The only reason she didn't act this way with the other guys is b/c she kept finding newer, better marks. Travis was the jackpot, nice looking, good job etc., etc., and she had invested too much to just let him go.

I agree. Martinez will wipe that away with his closing, along with those horrible photos to concrete the facts that not only are there no mitigators for the murderer ... she just came in here and tried tried to kill his character to you. She tried to kill him again, no empathy, no reason other than she also devalues this jury.

It is a tragedy of Shakespearean proportions. I think we can all agree on that.

It was going to be someone... she was building towards it.

Darryl got incredibly lucky because I think it really could have been him, if PPL and Abe then Travis hadn't come along. It was actually probably inevitable it was going to be Travis... she was a tempest in a teapot at the very moment they crossed paths.

God bless Travis and the Alexanders- thank God he didn't have a girl over when Jodi showed up- or a roommate come home early. This could have been so much worse.

Why so thoroughly cover her tracks if JA thought she'd done nothing wrong?

She knew that the cops would not 'realize' that he deserved to die. So she had to cover her tracks. But in her cold dead heart, she 'knew' he deserved it. jmo

Borderlines can keep emotions inside and then explode violently, DeMarte says.

Dr. DeMarte is rocking the stand today. If I ever need counseling, she's my gal. #JodiArias

She knows what she did was wrong. She felt Travis deserved it. That was good enough for her.

When one does show it it's seething/ violent outbursts. Happens when they feel criticized & they don't own it, they say it's not their fault

MMPI- DeMarte gave this test....Jodi feels angry inside often but doesn't tend to show it. #jodiarias #3tvarias

If the defense had hired DeMarte and gone all-out on mental illness as a mitigating factor I bet they'd have won and we could have been done in like a week or two.

Yeah. But could she have behaved differently or is this all because of her disorder (which can also be regarded as a mental illness according to Dr.M)?

Since this stuff is nothing new to me, maybe that's why it has no impact on me.

I don't see why Jodi should get a free pass for wreaking havoc on other people's lives and then killing just because she has a personality disorder. Most peolple who get the death penalty have personsity disorders. I truly believe she is also a sociopath. She may have had trouble in her relationships, but it's no excuse for what she did, it's not understandable, and it does nothing to explain her complete disregard for him. IMO, the pedophilia lie is inexcusable as anything more than a vindictive little girl who has hate in her heart.

This disorder does not give one a pass on murder. Nor does it mean she had no choice but to act upon her vile, vicious impulses. JMO

This makes me sad...TA who could contribute soooo much to life is gone forever and the world is left with HER. Not a fair trade.:(
