We have "John Smith" the hack data scientist whiz, Det. Smith for the prosecution and I don't know who Brown is.

Brown was 1st computer guy who testified in this re-trial. He was the first Mesa PD computer guy to work on the computer. He's no longer in that position. Det. Smith took over his position, IIRC.
