Nurmi is being ridiculous. He acts as though your experience and knowledge begins when you become licensed. It's different for MDs and PhDs. They go through years of training and schooling and internships and residencies. Demarte has only gained more knowledge and experience in the 4 years she's been licensed, too.

Super late to the party, but had to comment...

Do others remember crying and not knowing why they were crying as a kid (8-14 years old)? I would do that from time to time and my mom would ask me what was wrong and I'd tell her I didn't know so she's tell me to quit crying. I would just be annoyed and walk away where CMJA would take that as a personal slight against her. Not her parents fault, but because they didn't know the had a BPD child on their hands and how to handle her these things happened. I'll write more later (after I'm off work, lol) on BPD since I've had years of experience with a BPD mom, but for now please know that in no way does BPD mitigate cruel, heinous, murder.

Thanks so much for your post !! Narcissistic mother here & yes I do remember crying as a child over nothing. My mum didn't care if I cried just go to my room & never let a member outside of the family see me (might reflect on her you know).

Look forward to your post on BPD & how it relates to JA. Really am learning a lot from all the great commenters here.

Nurmi just thinks he's hilarious. He needs to get a clue. But somehow JAII always seems to know a day in advance what his strategy is going to be. They knew Marc McGee was coming in, and they knew he was going to attack Demarte's experience, going so far a to patronize her by calling her Totdoc, like Nancy Grace did to Casey Anthony. Only DeMarte didn't kill her child, wasn't a youngster and knows far more than these old hacks.:stormingmad:

This line of questioning is LOW, even for Nurmi.
