He wants a mistrial because of witness 1 Big Reveal, JM yelling at Geff (pot, kettle) and because.....JM "flailed his arms" in front of the jury....lmao.

And the last two things he has been doing all morning according to the tweets even yelling LOUDER than Juan so I just don't get it. It's like MOM! He's being mean to me! He is YELLING at me! Wah!!! So I find it rather ironic that HE can put in a motion that Juan is YELLING at the Dr. when HE is doing the EXACT same thing only LOUDER?

I'm kind of worried about Nurmi. That's weird, even for him.

I don't think this is anything unusual for Nurmi.

His abhorrent bullish condescending demeanor has been seen throughout this entire trial. Never have I seen another defense attorney as disgusting as he is and that is really saying something because I have seen plenty of defense attorney. But none of them can even begin to hold a candle to the guy that thinks he is a wrestler in a mud match.

I think he is very proud of himself for acting like nothing but an *. He seems to thrive on it and it somehow seems to feed his already narcissistic engorged ego. I think he is strutting his stuff like a proud peacock right about now. He really believes he has scored points but of course he is dead wrong on this and anyone with a lick of commonsense would know it. But a narcissist always believe people will see them in the best light even when they are vile and disgusting.

All he did was prove to the jury that what DJD testified to in the state's case is solid and like he normally does when he knows the state witness has made a big hit on his evil client .....his answer is to throw a hissy fit and bully. That's all he has. But trying to spar with someone who acts much more professionally than he does and has much more intelligence than he will ever have is a bad thing. He will come to realize that.

That's what I don't get. If it's such an act of misconduct to do what Juan does, why is Nurmi doing it?

I think if they're under any stress, it's because they aren't defending her at all. It's pretty easy to just keep on the attack with little logic and zero proof for any of their assertions. What toll doing so may do to their future careers is another matter. Seriously, it's like watching Bam Bam. Bash Travis! Bash Juan! Bash the parents! Bash the expert! Bash the lead detective! Bash! Bash! Bash! Bash!

Now, if they really defended her - introduced evidence to show her actions pre-crime are consistent with someone severely personality disordered; had reputable experts who not only supported a dx of borderline but also painted it in the very troubled, very human, very devastating ways it can manifest; introduced her family who struggled to help her cope all these years and have always fought for her but didn't know how big her demons were...and didn't know how to respond appropriately...

We'd be watching a very different trial. I don't think that one would raise nearly as much vitriol.

Kate, I totally agree with you. Unfortunately W and N did not do any of this. They know what they have done because of their earlier comment that this case is going to be discussed for years to come. I do think they are under a great deal of stress because they blew it and they know it. Also having JA as a client must be he**. I just can't imagine.
