I'm thinking that when this whole trial started the prosecution's case was so strong that JSS felt she could let the defense get away with ridiculous requests because of overwhelming evidense against their client. As the years have passed, juries have been bombarded with such extraneous crap from the defense that they are confused and now have no true knowlege of what the hell happened. I hope I'm wrong, but worried that this is now true.

Angelo Buono's trial lasted just under 2 years.

Can you imagine if his defense spent as long as Nurmi and Wilmott trashing and blaming each of his 10 victims?

I just visited her facebook page. I think we can all agree that she and cane-lady may have some personal issues that draws them to this trial, but looking at the photograph that MK was so miffed about, I think that is the cause of this nonsense. A retaliation for exposing MK and Beth Karas speaking with MDLR at the foot of the courthouse steps. Yes, members of the very press that "prevented Ms. Arias from receiving a fair trial', and yes, members of the very press that beat the DT in the Supreme Court.

I was thinking security was there to "escort the offenders" out of the courtroom, or at the very least be formally told who would be barred going forward? That's if the allegations had any merit of course.

I read on one of the FB pages that the comment can't come out because her twitter is set to private. And also some over there are saying the three people whoever they are should be ousted so we can get on with the trial. They seem not to care about free speech I guess. I mean if something was said IN court I could understand, but on the street? I mean it's not SMART to say whatever comes to your mind but you still should have that right in this country.

Yeah! what ever happened to "I may not agree with what you say but I will defend your right to say it"

I think the point JM will make in his closing is that Travis is not on trial, nor should he be. Travis told JA not to come to Mesa and she ignored him. When she did he gave her a job cleaning his home, gave her food to eat, let her borrow his car, lent her money, did not mistreat her for stealing the ring, or damaging the BMW. Plus there are countless other things we know about where he could have lost his temper and didn't. In her journal she admits it's over, they both need to move on. This is what is annoying about the defense DV experts. They read the journals but totally ignored that part which is obviously a lie she is wrote down before the fog rolled in. jmo

He had one lay witness to show who Jodi was (Abe).

He had one to show who Travis was (Deanna).

That's all he needs. Any more than that is overkill. Focusing too much on Travis would make this about Travis when it isn't and it would give the defense too much ammo. I like what he did here. Short and to the point. He's done good.

I have heard people sing it to disparage Mexicans, to call them cockroaches instead of singing about a cockroach. This was years ago in west Texas.

The only ones I have ever heard sing it are Mexicans and I love to hear them sing it.

I would think the complaint by MDLR would need to be handled by JSS (if by anyone) simply because the Nurms wants these people removed from JSS's courtroom.

I chose March 10th as the day for the verdict. I was really hoping I was wrong.

I chose March 14th, then saw that was on a Saturday and then chose March 16th.
