Owe $6000 to J C Penney and Kohl but the combined worth of their clothes is $200? I think JA's foreclosure/car repo/debts history indicates wise money-management wasn't an Arias family priority.

How do you let any type of credit card get up to $6000. And yes, they charged all this and their clothes are only worth $200! Sounds like not being truthful is a family trait. They owed their own business, yet they ran up over $6000 on two credit cards.

I thought JA dressed in clothes from Salvation Army or something, 'cos they do look really dated. Plus, she's not allowed to wear nice shoes, is she? Prison issue shoes and underwear? Of course, she does have to have pants to fit over the stun belt....

Also, there's no telling how much of this debt was accrued before JA got into trouble with the law.

Perhaps a AZ attorney can answer this....when Felon Casey Anthony was in court, her clothes came from a 'court closet'. I understood the clothes were donations that the inmates could borrow and wear for their court dates. There was a news clip and tour of this on TV...way back when.

Does AZ not have such a closet?

I'm sorry, but for what? This is so ridiculous. No wonder JA feels like a special snowflake. She is treated like one at every turn.

ETA: not directed at you DGC, just wondering why there needs to be an armed guard for spectators who have done nothing.

The Arias Family lives in CA, correct? Where do they stay when they AZ for court? If they stay at a hotel, that could be some of the money.

Mom may be staying at the felon's friends house...the one that she was in jail with. Sorry I do not remember her name right now. Then the hotel cost would be free, sort of. However, there still is air fare or gas money.

I can see how some of the MC or Visa cc could be high, but I think they do have more then they say. JMOO
