Physical sector 30232000 - they can go to that / sweep and watch the video. It's newer to him but LE has been using it and he recently attended a conference and purchased this IEF tool.

From June 1 2008? And...so what.

Encase could do it but the newer tool just made it easier.

JW - is it possible that as these tools develop, would it be possible to find even more fragments on the hard drive.

Dwork: explaining the packets count - found contiguous data related to that video. Possible that if you combined the two videos found it would be a longer video. But the data was not contiguous.

Newer tools might be able to tell if this was one longer video or the fragments.

I believe they did. I have no doubt the jury is hearing clear complete evidence.

Was this message found in the sent file on TA's phone? If not, why wasn't that brought up a long time ago? I thought all messages in question were from TA's phone since hers was mysteriously missing? So are we to now hear that at least this message was only on her phone?!?

Also with IEF he found photos.
He found around 6-10 that were pornographic in nature - although he says they may not all have been pornographic like racy ads. But some of them were clearly pornographic.

I have noticed when Juan has his own witnesses on the stand the first part (direct) will usually be very short. Then the defense gets their turn and when Juan is up again is when he will ask hard hitting questions that really clears everything up. He makes points he knows are going to stick in the jury's mind.

He seems to be a master at this. He gets it started (fast and simple) and he knows the defense will ask more questions allowing him to expounded on questions during his redirect.

He truly is the best prosecutor I have ever seen.

I agree. Perhaps he will ask on redirect with respect to the text message he referenced on direct:

If someone other than Mr. Alexander had access to his e-mail/computer passwords, is it possible that person could have sent the text message in question?

IEF will bucket data into different categories: He manually looked through photos and selected those that were notable. He brought a copy.

Nobody asked him to do that and they are on his laptop.

Showing him now what is in evidence already and he is confirming he has seen them all except the last one. These are just four and he thinks he saw more than that.

Wow. That's about par for the course isn't it. JA and the <mod snip> want to eliminate any support for the Alexander family, and, want to eliminate the unflattering portrayal of themselves and their reprehensible actions on the internet. I hope that Paul and Kathy can stay as members of the public to watch the trial, but I can't say I'm surprised that someone singing outside a court building would draw negative attention. The DT has no real mitigating factor. The thing isn't about prosecutorial misconduct or Travis Alexander somehow menacing and abusing the murderer. It's about a trumped up appeal down the line in which the DT is manufacturing misconduct by JM's team.

So MdLR heard singing, went to a reporter and said something like "Do you hear them singing? It's a Spanish song right? And they were singing it when I came down the stairs, right?" And now she has a witness to her racial taunting. Good lord. I think any of us could do a better job of taunting than that on a bad day and while suffering from laryngitis! And not knowing Spanish.

This is a fake issue, a nonissue really, but, to someone who's given in to pretty much every DT whim so far, I would bet JSS will cave and kick them out. And JA will have been able to make a little victory lap in her little cell. Before she goes to her permanent home.
