Could the murderer change her mind tomorrow?

Seriously though. It took a whole day for JSS to decide that it's either overflow room or nothing? :sigh:

We are waiting to see if they are going to discuss jury instruction in open court #jodiarias #3tvarias

No secrecy? I'll have to see that to believe it.

JW whispering to Sandi Arias but I can't hear what. JA left smiling about 10 minutes ago as did MDLR. JA smiling comes back in.

Can JM reference the fact that she had the choice to allocute and chose not to?

I suspect it has to be in an indirect manner, a la "Did you hear anyone in the past four months indicate ANY remorse on the defendant's part? Even a hint of it? No you did not, and that's because she has no remorse over committing this heinous crime - other than getting caught of course."

JA has to be feeling the pressure now knowing her stay at the jail is coming to an end after 6 1/2 years (can you believe it?) and she is soon heading off to prison until she dies of either natural causes or lethal injection.

I can't wait till she begins trashing her DT and witnesses.

As to the last minute letters admitted....why couldn't Sherry have just said no? Is there some law that says she has to allow the defense whatever they demand? Because it's a DP case?

No. Anyway, JA essentially did her allocution several months back.

Oh no! much more than that - they got to lose two of their own, and to secretly read two devastating pieces of evidence! They're good - NOT

The evidence was not read in secret--it was presented on the screen in open court.

She scoots over next to Nurmi and they are talking. JW continues with JA's mom. Janet is handing out the jury instructions. TA family just entered. and Det. Flores

JSS would be wise to give her one more chance in the morning.

I thought it was funny that JSS pointed out this was her opportunity to express remorse--apparently no one but JA thinks she already did this on Oct 30 with her half-hearted wish that she could redo that day and take away all the feelings of "those people."

Geez she sent them an 18 page apology. She expressed remorse for reading their no good lying cheating sex having Mormon brothers texts to other women. What more can "those people" want her to say?

What she has done with her crazy strategy is given herself a real serious chance of getting a DP sentence.

Hope no juror thinks crazy-like-a-fox JA must be nuts to act this way.

ETA: Someone above said this discussion between JSS and JA was with the jury absent. True?

At this point, I think she just fakes her smiles to piss her "haters" off.

So, folks....what are the odds JA changes her mind and puts on a remorse show tomorrow?

I'm going with still a no tomorrow. The only people she seems to hear are the loonies telling her she has a good appeal issue by refusing.

I'm recording everything so you'll be able to see all of this after verdict. Too much going on. I'll type if out later. #JodiArias

I will have #JodiArias talking to the judge in it's entirety on #ObsessedTrialWatchers.

Is this legal? Can she tape record during the court proceedings??? I thought it was not allowed....

What does she mean when she says she's recording? I thought you can't record anything?

Nurmi going over Jury inst. as is all at prosecution table. Jen and JA ae talking. JA's mom huddled in front row w/JA sister.

Is this the letter from Auntie? Or was there something else given to the jury in addition to the Auntie letter?

We don't know what papers were given to the jury to read to themselves. 2 exhibits were put on screen aunt sue & wit 1 mama. I don't think jurors have been handed any papers before during the trial

well, it was a SC decision & ja knew it! NO closed courtroom. Why did she try it anyway? She thought 'testimony' & 'allocution' meant different rules?

JA's appeal will be based on the fact that the unfair judge refused to disobey a COA ruling that the ASC refused to hear.
:laugh:Good one!
