The crime photos.... not the few that were taken accidentally. She needed to see the scene the way the detectives had seen it.

No, she asks to see those specific pictures after he tells her about finding the camera and pulling deleted pictures from the camera. After her fake-shocked "Really?" after he says the camera took some pictures when the murder was taking place. "Can I see the pictures?"

For me,

During the trial and when she was shown the "texts" between them, the recorded sex sessions, and even pictures she had taken in the pass, I could see her smiling. I feel like she stepped over into the never realm of her desires and she knew, she would always have the last little piece of him, literally.

This is her crazy shining through without any doubt.
