To be clear, I didn't post that photo of JSS because of how she looked, I just thought the expression she was making toward Juan was funny.

:). I wasn't commenting on her looks or aging either. Pot calling the kettle black and all that...

Should haves don't matter anymore. But I wish TA had gotten a protective order. Dang. He had enough friends to attest to the fact that he was being stalked. Would she have killed him anyway? I am sure she would have. But maybe she would be on death row now. He even told Dave Hall or Chris Hughes that if they didn't hear from him, he would likely be dead. That was a week before his death. What was he thinking! As as far as owning a gun, he should have bought several...to use on her! I am so angry at that killer I could just.....

Hi everyone.
Thought this would be helpful to hear: (almost like being there :) )

Jodi Arias - Police Phone Interviews June 10, 21 (vm) & 25, 2008

"Jodi Arias called to speak with Detective Flores on June 9, 2008, the night Travis Alexander's body was discovered. He did not return her call that night.
After getting information the following day, that Jodi Arias called once again to speak to him, Detective Flores returned her call..."

She knew his vulnerabilities. That's part of being the predator she is.

SO TRUE. She is a snake.

JM has said pretty directly that he believes she targeted Mormon "boys." Imo, not just because of the value placed on kids and family and community, and on working hard, but because of the emphasis put on everyone being potentially perfect and a wonderful human being.

She emphasizes that he "guilted" her because that's what she did to him, one of her key manipulations. She tried to make him angry and jealous, which made him feel terrible about himself.

Forgiving her was the correct thing to do according to what he believed, and forgiving her made him feel better about himself.

She KNEW all that. And used it against him.

A piece of paper wouldn't have protected him. Paper is not an effective weapon against a determined psycho. He clearly didn't really think she'd actually do something heinous. He had no idea what he was up against. Most socio/psychopaths don't kill. The odds weren't in his favor this time.

:seeya: Didn't Shannon write a book about this case ? I've seen her on an ID Channel Show -- can't remember which one though.

She did. IMO, it was pretty mediocre at best.

I do think they were in a relationship. But it was very short and the premise that it continued after they'd broken up is just BS. If you are broken up, you are broken up, no matter how twisted the relationship continues to be after that. ALV wants to say, well, they broke up, yes but they still acted like they were in a relationship so they weren't really. It doesn't work like that.

Travis and Jodi met in 2006 and she killed him 2008 with 5 and 1/2 months of that "going steady", and I think Jodi backed Travis in to that. They knew each other for around 22 months. Not three years . Saying 2006, 2007 and 1/2 0f 2008make it sound more than what is was. So, Travis was trying to get rid of her for a long time.

I wish Juan would state this, unequivocally, to the jury!

Well said!

I think she thought she'd found heaven when she met Travis and saw all those young , successful, horny Mormon men. She said she wasn't into Ryan Burns because he lived with his parents and she'd never considered him as marrying material.

Re reading and going through Jodi words. Didn't she tell Flores that she didn't know if Travis's bedroom door had a lock? On the stand she tells of DeAnna going up to his bedroom and locking the door, and when Mimi and friends went over they had to look for a key to the lock on his bedroom door.
