Is aunt sue even allowed to be discussing this case in social media if she's an alleged defense witness? Not saying she is going to be a witness but if she is and is making comments about the case isn't that against the rules?

If nothing else it eliminates her as a witness.

That family irritates the crap out of me. From fund raising Aunt Sue to the ribbon-wearing Granny.

Based on the time-stamp from the "Vent Room" post, Auntie's accusation against the Alexander's is a moot, albeit disgusting, point.

The leak, IMO, came from MDL to the media--her trail of bad deeds can be traced back to CMJA's motion asking to remove Nurmi as counsel ( the secret defense trip that was supposed to be hidden from CMJA was revealed by none other than MDR) and that trail continues today.

:moo:MOO.:moo:

I remember a dumb and dumber Judge Judy episode.

In this case, we have quite a few contenders from the Arias clan...:ohoh:

Ugh. Your family member is a cold blooded murderer. We shouldn't be hearing a peep out of them. Not on social media. Nowhere. They need to be blending away into the background of that courtroom.

OMG ... what a 🤬🤬🤬 !

 Obviously, hatred runs in the family ...

:moo:

I don't blame them for the way that Arias turned out and for what happened on June 4, 2008. Having said that, they sure are heartless and callous just like Jodi herself. It's strange how these people go into 'slander the victim and make money' mode so quickly!* They are not normal or decent. I'd love to hear what Demarte has to say about them.

When will we ever see a family of the defendant apologising to the victim's family and holding the defendant accountable for his/her actions? In my dreams, I guess.

I truly hope the appeals court grants the media's request and opens the court room doors. Let's get this done.

I do not believe Jodi has it in her to breakdown and be unconsolable, sobbing and incoherent. I would pay to see her try.

Jodi's strongest emotion is anger, and Juan knows how to ring her bell. I am just sad we are missing it.

And we can be assured, her latest rant will be/is yet another lie.

Wasn't Jodi's mother glaring at the Alexander's when they were crying during Victim impact statements ?they remind me of Casey's parents. No class ignorant bunch.
If my son even hurt a dog I'd be so mad! There is no rationale that makes sense for their behavior. Enabling at its finest!

I think Juan is the smartest person I have ever seen, and I have the utmost amount of confidence in him, but I think if someone here has his email or can get something to him, that the comment from Aunt Sue and the post about Jodi testifying on the stand should be sent to him. He probably spent all weekend preparing for tomorrow and may not know. Plus I'd love to see one of JA's mitigating witness's (Aunt Sue) get struck off of the list!

I haven't seen Jodi's Mom glaring at the Alexanders; as a matter of fact, at least one reporter mentioned that she appeared "visibly shaken" as she left the courtroom after the VIS. I think that Sandy doesn't believe her daughter's lies and is horrified by all of this. HOWEVER. Put her in her twin sister Sue's company (Sue being the one who posted that tweet on the previous page about the Alexanders and contempt) and it's a different story. When Sue wasn't with her during the trial she was quiet and unemotional. With Sue by her side she was animated, laughing, and quite unprofessional and disrespectful for a court of law; and a capital murder case at that! Sue is much more the Alpha Female, and I see a lot of Jodi there.

It's Sue that's been the most horribly vocal about her niece, especially that despicable post she made on the anniversary of Travis' murder about it being the anniversary of her niece successfully defending herself against her attacker and how it showed domestic abuse victims that sometimes their abusers got what they deserved. She seriously put that out there. She seems the most like Jodi to me. Jodi's "advice" to victims of domestic violence was to "document everything" (instead of LEAVING or GETTING HELP). Sue's message to the abused is that sometimes you can successfully KILL your abuser (and isn't that an awesome thing?). She's all cuddly with the fine folks at JAII and knee deep in the fund-raising shenanigans.

Arias' siblings were also quiet at first until Auntie Sue decided to go on the offensive against the Alexanders. I don't blame them too much, as they're young and have Sue as an example. And frankly, they're being attacked on a daily basis online, really nasty stuff. I understand their anger, but I think it's misdirected. Sue just eggs them on.

TL;DR: Sue's the nasty, low-class villain in that family tree, second only to Jodi. IMO, MOO, etc.

IMO I think Juan had the Alexander's do their VIS knowing that this next mystery witness would be asking to have the courtroom closed. What does that look like to the jury?

I remember a video snip with Mrs. Arias being interviewed by Det. Flores soon after JA's arrest. Her mom described (iirc) the time between TA's death and JA's arrest as the best relationship the family had ever had with her. Mrs. Arias was in tears as she asked Flores how JA could act like that (i.e. non-psychopathy for once) if what he claimed JA had done to TA were true. And wasn't there evidence introduced in the last trial that JA abused her mom, at least verbally, when she arrived to help JA pack for her return to Yreka? Iirc there was a confrontation that was witnessed and then Mrs. Arias returned to CA without JA as planned?

Becaused she'd need them for once. :jail:
