I wouldn't be surprised if the Pros learned who the father is. Maybe they will bring him in during their rebuttal, although he would have to be on their witness list. He may state how he was denied a relationship w/ the DD he didn't know he had.

It could make a difference if Caylee´s paternal family stepped forward for Casey,´s punishment.
Let´s assume she is found guilty of first degree murder. Death or life in prison? The judge and jury might be more compelled to give Casey life if there is no paternal family, taking into consideration that the Anthonys have already suffered the loss of a grandchild and would therefore spare her life for their sake. It is all within the Anthony family as it is.
But the matter would be entirely different if there were a paternal family grieving the loss of a precious child, wouldn't it?

I have always thought that Ryan Pasley may be a good candidate for the bio father. Ever since I saw that pic of him and Caylee in which they look so much alike and ICA's statement that she hasn't seen the bio father's parents since she was a young child. Ryan was on the state's witness list, but wasn't called. I was hoping he would be.

I tend to think that Caylee's biological father is probably a one-night stand. If Casey was partying in late 2004 like she was in 2008, she might have met and slept with someone who was only some guy she met at a party. She may not even know his full name. As far as the guy is concerned, he might not even remember her beyond the brunette he slept with one night.

I, too, doubt that ICA knows who it was. If she did, I bet she would have tried to implicate him in Caylee's death. Maybe he really is dead or did not live in the area at the time Caylee died and thus cannot be implicated, but I bet she just doesn't know or she would have tried to bring him into the case somehow.

you don't need to go to bars to have one-night stands! i think ICA was promiscuous and that is why she got into a situation where she didn't know who the father was or where he didn't invest enough to stick around or even have any curiosity about this huge case or if he was related. either that or he really died. or maybe he was in the military! who knows... i guess we can all speculate... my opinion is that wherever he is, he's not the kind of guy who would come forth and claim caylee as his own or he would have a long while ago. i think if we'd had a good candidate for the father we sleuths would've been all over it, but nothing really leads to anywhere and he hasn't seemed to want to step up through all of this, even for 15 min of fame.

there was speculation about JO earlier in this thread but i thought that was definitely not true according to DNA evidence....

My own personal guess is that the father is someone Casey is embarrassed to admit to having relations with. If not, she would have been shouting it from the mountaintops, IMO. She would have been collecting that child support, or putting some pressure on him for a ring. Caylee's biological dad would have been a source of free money and/or attention for Casey, and I don't think she would have let that go.

Unless it would have been embarrassing, and ruined Casey's "fairy tale life."

She could have been frequenting house parties and having random one night stands with strangers she met there. Who knows? A bar is just one of many options available to someone 18 years of age and looking for a casual hook-up.

And FWIW, I'm not convinced (not that it matters what I think) she was all that promiscuous at the time she conceived Caylee. Just a hunch...

Hi, I'm new to this site and have been lurking a bit to see what's goin on !

In the Timeline directory, acandyrose, around November or December 2004, a friend of Lee's visited and was suppose to have been Caylee's father also.
His name was Brandon and was also killed in a car accident ! WoW

May be true or not !

I also read that Caylee loved Panda's, will be buying one tomorrow to put in my curio in her memory !
