*REVISIT* Dead Body in the Trunk Statement: True or Bait?

Not only is it true, George knows at least part of it's true. Why would he tell the press that the dead body in the trunk wasn't his granddaughter? How many dead bodies did the Anthony's keep around the house and in vehicles anyway?

that is exactly why i wonder if the statement of dead body in trunk is just to get the reaction of family. obvious the police must have been shocked to hear -- not kaylees dead body but someone elses. i would like to have been there to hear the conversation of police in private after geoerge said that. they must shake head and say -- this case is nuts. then george would have had to say why dead body of someone else . i would be wide eyed waiting to hear reply . yet, AGAIN I AGREE -POLICE CAN NOT JUST LIE ABOUT THIS. I SOUND AS CONFUSED AS THEM!!!

Yeah, he never disputed the fact that there had been a dead body in that car, because having smelled it, he knew better.

That statement is too much for it not to be the truth. Could you imagine the reaction from the public if LE comes out and says "Sorry guys it wasn't true, just trying to see if Casey would crack"?

GA and CA really need to understand that forensics dosen't lie, it is not biased. Pretty soon Casey will be in prison and they still will not have Caylee or even a gravesite to visit her at. They have lost them both already and if they don't get the truth from Casey now they will never get it.

I believe it is true.
I also believe that KC has told GA, CA, and LA a story about some illegal activity she supposedly was involved with connecting her to some bad people and that she's very sorry for it but they forced her into it since she had no money to support herself and Caylee and that out of that activity came the death of a bad guy - put into her trunk- and the bad guys took Caylee and are holding her until this is all over and then she'll be returned and life and the lies will go on as usual. They believe her, they always believe her. So for appearance sake they are going about life as usual. For some reason, I guess they want to believe her, they can't accept the fact that Caylee is gone forever.
This is the strangest bunch of people I have ever heard of. LE KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING AND WILL PUT HER AND POSSIBLY ALL OF THEM BEHIND BARS, I HAVE NO DOUBT ABOUT IT. GO LE! GET JUSTICE FOR CAYLEE.

I think it's completely true and just the tip of the iceberg of what else they have. There's no way they would use this kind of info as bait. LE would not have stepped in and made so many resources and funds available to TES if they didn't have enough evidence to back up the claim that Caylee is deceased. Just from the interview where they try to break Casey into fessing up was proof to them that she is a cold, callous monster so they wouldn't expect her to react to what the lab tests show. Not even a shadow of doubt in my mind that LE is gonna get her.

even if they find her dead could they prove mom did it? she does not seem to have emotions of rage when they say dead in trunk or dumpster. you would have to tie me up if someone said that to me and i did not do it or if i thought my kid was dead in anyones trunk god forbid. the thread here is about can we be 100 percent sure the police know she is dead and was in that trunk.. if so, tears for poor baby. why is this so complicated? casey is not talking.

At first when he said that, it broke my heart with the level of denial. Then after I had a chance to think about it, I thought more and more this is why Casey have them all believing her. She knew what they would find in the trunk and I bet she told them that ZG or whoever took the baby so she would keep her mouth shut about something that ZG or whoever had done and forced her to help move the body and that is why they would think that someone else was in the trunk and believe all this nonsense about the family being in danger. If there were a kidnapper with such a crazy story at this point, once they saw that they had all this money to bond her out of jail and the reward and such, someone would have asked for a ransom or something by now. LE knows what they are doing and at this point, they are getting their duck in a row. I assume they will arrest her on more financial crimes and once she is in, they arrest her on the rest so that the public doesn't get her first.

Since the information coming from the A's side has been proven to be lies I only listen to what they have to say for entertainment value. LE is, in the end, the only possible source of real information. They are out to work their case and obtain information from any legal avenue since that is the only thing that can be used in court. I'm sure they have floated possibilities in the media to push the case forward. As for what evidence they have, it seems we won't know unless LE has a leak. Bottom line is LE is working this 24/7 and the As know it. The As are more likely to make a mistake. I can't wait for this to go to court. I have no doubt that LE is going to win this one.

EXACTLY!! I for one will be super angry if after all this time I find out that child was alive and no one was looking for a live Caylee. That would just be too much to call it a mistake!

No, this is not bait, but Casey gives no reaction and the parents are in deep denial. I would happily be proved wrong and that Caylee is alive...but the proof of a decomposing body in the trunk is something that won't go away (just like the stench).

I don't know if there is much left to find of her at this point, it is now going on the 4th month....but i am confident the real undisputed evidence from the labs will work against psychotic bioch is going to prove that she killed her baby and caylee will have justice.

Her friends have described her behaviour as "Bipolar", remember? If they find Caylee and there are traces of chemicals still left somewhere in the body, they may be able to connect the dots that way. It's hard to say this, but since the chloroform was researched and possibly purchased from KC's computer, if there are traces of it still in the body (bone tissue for example) there's not much chance someone else did it. Also the hair. If the hair matches what was found in the trunk, BINGO - that erases most reasonable doubt.

I couldn't have said it better nyself! In fact, I tried and literally couldn't. That is exactly what I meant tho! Those people are in such denial that they could have raised someone who could have done such a thing and that they have lost their precious Caylee. They will believe whatever she tells them to continue this lie in their head so they don't have to accept the truth for as long as possible. I think that if she believes DNA and forensics to be to Hocus Pocus, her nursing license needs to be looked into.

LE has no expectation of denial or assistance by Casey or her enablers - they KNOW she harmed her daughter .

She may feel she is smart and superior but she is run of the mill - just
another dumb arrogant felon . She will be in prison like many others
who thought they could get away with it .
Every bit of her deceit and crimes are going to be uncovered . For every piece of information that is released there others that arent and will come
out at trial. They will secure a conviction dont doubt it .
